As a pedestrian, thank you for doing this. The stripes are there for a reason idiots! Control your car or bike to a stop, stop where you don’t impede someone walking, is that too hard? When you pull up on the line you create an unsafe situation where other drivers have a hard time seeing if someone is about to walk or ride bicycle in front of them.
