Like you have all said, Neil has been part of the group from the beginning and does a wonderful job of holding down the harmonies... which for many is more difficult than singing the melodies. I really like his rendition of "Wish Upon a Star" on the cd, and I'm glad the back up voice finally gets a chance to stand with the other talented men. Thanks for posting!
To the negative commenters, find a video of them performing with their orchestra. Here they perform a cappela, it's probably morning. These guys are heavenly normally, or go see them in concert.
you can tell this is really early in the morning. but they are still A-MAZING!!! congrats to neil for becoming Celtic thunder's #6 vocal member!!! be really balances out the group since damian's voice has deepened. love these boys! (or should i say lads?!!?!?!!)
@Babs2y Nonsense. Neil didn't even have a line in this song because he never did when it was released. Neil has always been their backup singer and has always provided additional harmonies on their songs. To say Neil throws off the harmony makes absolutely no sense when he's been part of CT since its inception. Plus, he has a wonderful voice!
I love them. The acapella was GORGEOUS. I love their individual voices and the way they mesh together afterwards. Watching the older videos I wish I was into them when paul byrom and ryan kelly were still in the group, their voices are amazing
I died when Damian started singing this!! I sang this song for a compition and I was so excited to hear him sing it!!!! He has to win The Glee Project!!!!-3
It is now 6 fabulous lads!!! The addition of Neil Byrne (next to Ryan) has rounded out this lovely group. Neil is/was the guitarist and backing vocals on the previous CD's & DVD's! He has a solo song in the new It's Entertainment CD and sings with Ryan & Keith in Hallelujah.
@Monicaleigh43 i don't think he was actually suppose to sing in that song since he's a later member and thay probably hadn't really worked his tone into the harmonies at the time. so, he was just like humming and mumbling the words. that's just my theory :P
@Shannon2993 You're probably right but it makes sense. He wasn't a lead singer when they released this song and the guys are doing the verse they always did. It would be dumb to have Neil suddenly gone during this song when he's now in the group, even though he's not part of this song. You know what I mean?
Wow! There hasn't been thunder like that in Ireland since the Vikings left! I got to get me one of those videos (and a TV). Very quaint & charming. Could use a good soprano and mezzo though (clarinet wouldn't hurt either) - I know they have some in Ireland. Anyway, putting all seriousness aside. . . The tune these words were put to is called "The Londonderry Aire". Now that Londonderry is again called by its original name of "Derry"; perhaps it be appropriate to refer to this tune now as "Danny Boy's Derry Aire (derriere)" ? Could even inspire new words! I think these guy are up to it.
Wish people would stop saying Neil (and Ryan) are short... they aren't! Ryan is 5-10 and Neil, judging by this vid and others, is about an inch shorter, if that, so figure 5-9. So not short! I mean, who knew Damo would grow to be 6 feet tall? And having George at 6-2, anyone is gonna look short next to that. But all of these fine lads are above average height, in American terms...
@platolol You have no right to judge talent, talent comes in many different forms. Not everyone is a songwriter, and yes it is amazing when someone can write amazing songs like Bob Dylan can, but it doesn't take away from the fact that these boys are extremely talented singers. It takes a special quality to perform the way they do, harmonize, perfect tone and pitch despite nerves, etc.
Ok I am behind with the times here in Ireland as we don't get much info about these guys here, are we now a 6 piece or are we still a 5 piece?? Just a little confused but maybe that's because I have been celebrating St. Paddy's day a wee bit too much today :o Thanks for uploading by the way!!
@imshortandirish He's sung background for them since the beginning. So, I think he would know the words and harmonies. LOL. But, your theory could work out too.
I have to disagree. I feel that Neil's voice is a perfect blend of the raspiness that Ryan has and the resonance that Keith's brings, and fits in somewhere in the middle. Maybe in this song, it could be a little off, but in any of the others they've sang, it's only enhanced the harmonies.
You must be kidding, Babs2y. Neil has been with the group ever since the first day. He knows these songs backward and forward.Phil Coulter picked him personally to play lead guitar in the band. Anyone who thinks he can't sing just hasn't heard him sing Noreen or always a Woman yet.Grow up or go back to your heavy metal. I'm sure you'll hear some good harmony there !!
Why on earth did they have to change the lyrics of Ireland's Call? The original lyrics are far way better, the version they sing at the International Rugby games is the correct version!.Shame on you CT!.
Genevieve Canada They sing beautifully but wether though ignorance or greed for fame ,they blew there Christian cover by leading the St.pat parade in New York a blaitent pro homosexual event!
Keith is just adorably I love his dimples, ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love the music
such handsome men, talented & in suits! wow! such eye candy & no more beautiful voice on the planet!
Like you have all said, Neil has been part of the group from the beginning and does a wonderful job of holding down the harmonies... which for many is more difficult than singing the melodies. sorry but this is and forever will remain in my memory the best combination of CT talent. Hands down.

To the negative commenters, find a video of them performing with their orchestra. Here they perform a cappela, it's probably morning. These guys are heavenly normally, or go see them in concert.

You are ALL BLIND! GO KEITH!!!!!
They’re better when not trying so hard. But they’re still the best forever❤❤❤❤❤❤

This song is my favorite song (Danny Boy )

They started out flat on Danny Boy, but recovered well with Ireland's Call. I just wish we were able to see them sing the whole song.

Celtic Thunder: *proceeds to sing a literal funeral song* 😂
Gorgeous nonetheless!

@CountDerekula1 Haha...no....that's the guy from Celtic Thunder who just happened to make it onto the Glee Project...and now everyone knows him?? :P
@Monicaleigh43 i don't think he was actually suppose to sing in that song since he's a later member and thay probably hadn't really worked his tone into the harmonies at the time. so, he was just like humming and mumbling the words. that's just my theory :P

@MMEPhilly I cut Neils' hair in Pittsburgh,,,never thought "short",,,just cute and talented!

I wish we could have heard Keith more during his solo in Danny boy! The other voices overpower him.
I have my own Danny Boy.
its good. needs better balance but still amazing
KEITH
Isnt that the guy from The Glee Project?
Can you feel love
More dvd cd together
he's dreamy
For me it's Damian, Keith and Ryan :D
@imshortandirish He's sung background for them since the beginning. So, I think he would know the words and harmonies. LOL. But, your theory could work out too.
Damian is dreamy.

like this if they are all talented and amazing singers instead of posting on how one guy is hotter then the other
@claire2106 Neil used to just be a back up singer, now he's more lol
Damian
YES DAMIAN YES
is that the irish guy from glee?
Paul's sparkly tie
Nooooo it stopped right before Damian's part
OMG!!! It's Damian McGinty from Glee!!!
To be honest... I think Damian did win glee project... He's currently living in CA with Cameron, and not in Ireland O.O
@MTwannaB4jesus opps! sorry. i meant 6th member!!!
yup

Paul
Damian all the way
Ryan
@Monicaleigh43 yeah but i don't think he sung harmonies for THAT song; after all, it was acapella.. either way, he doesn't sing in this one xD lol
Why cut off the rest of Ireland's Call ?!?! NOT COOL!!!!
@Monicaleigh43 he probly doesnt
Neil looks like he doesn't know the words!
Paul, George and Damian for me lol
@platolol If you think this is karaoke, then you must have never heard amazing quality music.
danny doy caecyu bomogao
katsuaki baby
Marry me damien!!
It would be perfect if it wasn't for that loud obnoxious whiny voice from QVC.
Awww, Neil barely sings Danny Boy. Must be nervous.
You must be kidding, Babs2y. Neil has been with the group ever since the first day. He knows these songs backward and forward.Phil Coulter picked him personally to play lead guitar in the band. Mamommy
asvina v. pienda
I don't think that Neil is singing in Danny Boy :S..
Das ist die schlechteste Interpretation von Dany Poy🤦♀️😱
BOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why on earth did they have to change the lyrics of Ireland's Call? The original lyrics are far way better, the version they sing at the International Rugby games is the correct version!.Shame on you CT!.
then you obviously don't know talent.
First let me say im irish«««««« i didnt think the were that great. Sorry
Genevieve Canada They sing beautifully but wether though ignorance or greed for fame ,they blew there Christian cover by leading the St.pat parade in New York a blaitent pro homosexual event!
JENNY Wangler they are Christian. Christians love and accept everyone. You obviously are not one of you disagree.
