    Your videos help me to understand more deeply what my father went through with HD. Though he's passed now, the education you're providing is invaluable to anyone who wants to learn, whatever their reason. Many, many thanks.

    Can you please explain to me what the difference in roles between a LVN vs RN in a dialysis setting (based in Texas)? I've looked for this info but have yet to find it... the TX BON is very scarce/vague in its description.

    • @dialysisnurselindsey
      @dialysisnurselindsey  2 роки тому +2

      This is clinic based…depends on the clinic. We don’t have LVN’s where I work. I think it’s similar to hospital setting. Is there a job posted for a dialysis LVN ?

    I'm a new graduate and I have an interview for my local dialysis center and I'm curious if me having an issue where I have frequent urination would this be a problem for this job. I pee about 3 times as much as the normal person so I would need a pee break every 2 hours or so to urinate. Would that be to frequent for this job? It wasn't really an issue in the hospital I could always pop in the bathroom quickly between patients.

    • @dialysisnurselindsey
      @dialysisnurselindsey  3 роки тому +3

      Of course!! I picked dialysis because i wanted to be specialized, take care of the same patients every week, and no night rotations. I had no idea what I was getting in to…cuz omg are we special (ized)

    • @dialysisnurselindsey

      New grads do great in dialysis. I’d suggest make a list of what you want in your nursing job and find one that fits more pros than cons. There are so many jobs out there, it can be hard to choose!
