Can you do a video on PhD applications for international students, the process, basically the flow through of the whole thing, and how much time it'll take approximately, from finding guides to final stages of applications
Hey and thanks for the great question. I can look into this but im not sure i there is enough material available to make for an informative video. These exams differ from school to school so im not quite sure what to talk about - especially if you are looking for information on a specific exam.
@@RoadtoFinnish ohh ok then would it be possible for you to make a video on the Finnish exam we need to write in order to be given scholarships in some universities. Thanks in advance
sounds awesome that you can have first year online but that price ._. have you tried calculating if it would be more profitable then paying rent and such for one year? maybe that would make it more attractive
Hey Aaron and thanks for the support as always! Its been an interesting year so far and its been really difficult to plan and upload videos. Not really what i wanted for this year but what can you do. I have a bunch of new content coming up within the next few weeks and i hope those will be useful 👌
Hello sir its an urgent piece of work that 28th September there was my entrance exam of Haaga helia university and lab uas university the think i that i don't even recieve any email from the university so what its means they might rejected me or something else is there can u please reply me
Hey Oliver! How about Fine Arts in Helsinki? I know it's pretty damn hard to get into, I also know other people (international) who wanted to study there and they didn't manage. Would be nice if you knew someone from there that could tell us some basic info, about the entrance examinations or what the teachers want to see in the portfolio etc. It would be interesting if you could interview a person who already studies there, because unfortunately you cannot find much information about it online. Anyway , thank you for your time devoting to these videos, cheers!
I'm not actually interested in studying in Finland (though that would be pretty terrific). I just watch your videos because I like watching you talking about how to study in Finland. Does that sound odd?
Hey Kelechi and thanks for the suggestion. This is unfortunately a topic that i cant really make a video on. Its not really a topic that is specific to UAS interviews as this applies to any remote interviews or meetings. There are a bunch of great resources e.g. on UA-cam on being more comfortable in remote interviews.
Hey, man. I have been loving the content lately. I am looking to get a degree or study engineering at a Finnish University while living in Finland full time. Could you please tell me what university has the best Engineering program? Thanks.
Hey and thanks for the great question. Aalto university is the best school in Finland for engineering (both in terms of ranking as well as in resources offered for students). You can check out their English taught degrees from the links below: - Bachelor's level degrees: www.aalto.fi/en/study-at-aalto/bachelors-programmes-in-english - Master's level degrees: www.aalto.fi/en/study-options?field=tech°reeType=masters&language=en I hope this helps!
Hey jenn and welcome to the community! Thats kinda interesting to hear and im glad that youve been watching the videos. 🙂 Just out of curiosity, are you currently considering moving to Finland either for studies or for work?
Terve Oliver! Can you tell me which is the best best university to study photography in Finland? I would love to study photography in Finland in the future 👍☺️
Hey Camila and thanks for the question! So photography in itself is not a university level education in Finland so you cant really apply to study photography at a university or university of applied sciences. You could naturally take photographical design courses as a part of your broader design or arts degree but that would require you to apply to an arts degree which would be broader in its contents.
My first question is, is it possible to take IELTS without a certificate? My second question is, if the deadline is in January, is there a possibility to apply after January? Thanks for answer
Im not sure if i understood your first question. Do you mean taking the IELTS without a high school diploma or something else? No, the application deadlines are not flexible and you have to apply before the deadline. Otherwise you have to wait until the next application period.
Hello Oliver! First of all, I want to thank you for all your content, it is very useful for those who want to move to Finland. I have a question: If I get the chance to continue my studies in Finland in 2023, I'll be able to work there too? Or is there a program or scholarship for students to cover expenses? Thank you in advance!
Hey Aldana and thanks so much for the great question! Yes, you are allowed to work as a student in Finland. I already have a video on the channel explaining this whole topic BUT the legislation regarding working as a student changed this year and i will release an updated version hopefully next week. In addition to being able to work, every single university in Finland does offer scholarships for international students. Each school has their own scholarship programmes and application methods and you would need to find the relevant university webpages to find more detailed information on each scholarship option. Again, i have bunch of videos on this topic on the channel and i would recommend that you start with this one: ua-cam.com/video/NS0_6Ka8zlU/v-deo.html I hope this helps!
@@RoadtoFinnish This is perfect! Thank you for taking the time to answer me so completely. I'll start watching the videos and I'll be waiting for you to upload the next one. Thank you again, regards from Argentina!

Hello sir, How’s the universities of FINLAND for MBA Programme. Does universities OFFER study visa for commerce student equivalent to science student’s or not. I’ve heard only few of universities provide MBA programme for international student. What’s the actual environment there, and will be helpful to know the actual situation.
Hello. Please I'm still really confused about this upcoming joint exams. Are we writing summary in the English section and are we writing an essay too?
Brother nice to meet you here, Could you please suggest me MBA in leading transformational change degree or MBA in Global Business Management which one is better to study in Finland? Please consider my query because it will be grateful for me.
I have been searching for a while but still unsuccessful. I’m interested in a Ph.D. In Education Research, Assessment and Evaluation or Education Policy. I have challenges from remote locations to access the sites. I would love to know if you know if such a PhD is offered in University of Helsinki or any of the other Universities.

Actually its not difficult to get into any Uniersity, specially those Uni of Applied Sciences in Finland. Many seats remain empty in many non IT related fields, cause nobody wants to come there. After getting a degree most people end up doing cleaning job. .
The fact that some schools do not fill all of their spots does not tell you anything about the general situation. The same could be said about 90% of all universities and colleges around the world so the point is pretty much moot. Also, while i do respect your opinion on Finland, i would have to disagree with your last statement. Your argument isnt based on reality and i would really like to understand what you are basing this on.
