I say this every single time. I can't possibly understand how behaviour can't add a system to detect stuff like the amount of speed a player has over x amount of seconds. A player being as fast as a 115 killer with Bloodlust 3 for over 15 seconds without being hit before is absolutely wild.
See here’s the thing they definitely can but why bother 🤣. Ppl still buy there overpriced skins, ppl still buy dlc’s and ppl still buy there seasonal rifts. They are making hand over fist with revenue so why bother with anything if ppl still obviously buy in record numbers. It took this company 5+ years to have IMPLEMENTED A SEARCH BAR FOR UR PERKS. Its not a matter of how or if its a matter of want and they dont want to fix the problem so it never will.
The sad thing is what's stopping cheaters from adding that speed multiplier to innocent survivors in their match, then innocent players would become banned
To be more nuanced on my previous comment though, Behaviour could put all 5 players (survivors and killer) on a ''watchlist'' when something suspicious happens within a match (such as subtle speed hacking, etc), then watch over those 5 players in their future matches, up until they find out who's consistently having the most suspicious matches, meaning it's them. Finding out who's clearly giving subtle speed hacks to other survivors/the killer.
Had a hacker tell me in end game he wasn’t and that ima bozo, after about a week I got msg that the report was successful and action has been taken 😂 they subtle hack then gaslight !!
It's always like that. I once faced a Clown that picked up survivors twice as fast (without Fire Up). When you cheat stuff like that odds are you're also cheating in other ways. But of course full on defense mode in post-game chat!

As a 4,500 hour player im sick of facing cheaters. I only included my hours to explain at that level its easy to spot them.i play 10 to 20 games a day and have for the past 4 years..this problem has gotten much worse the past year...i really wish they would ban these people permanently
There are multiple people on YT that cheat openly and post it and brag about how many times they have been banned. They just make new accounts and do it all over again because BHVR doesn't IP ban people.
I get subtle cheaters every 3rd game. The moment MMR rises, boom, cheaters. And the worst part is that I feel like shit because I'm accusing someone of cheating almost every match because at some point I can't tell anymore if I'm imagining things or are they really cheating. I have somewhere around 2000 hours and been playing DBD for 5 years now.

Hackers love to feel untouchable against enemies, and like gods among friends. Hackers see it as a win win where they both get to piss off the enemy and look good in their ally's/friends eyes who cant tell theyre cheating ; and the only thing they have to lose is the account which theyd gladly remake. It always stems from a lacklustre life where they arent untouchable, and dont look like a god amongst their peers. After all, video games are where you escape that reality.
The thing about people that cheat like this in a video game, they’re almost always extremely bad at the game they’re cheating in. This is the only way they can feel like they’re getting wins.

I would rather have a cheater that has their survivor model be a Bubba and have an infinite use flashbang that doesn’t even blind the killer than cheaters who think they are so slick by running at 111% movement speed with wallcheats, instaheals, and no stagger.
Dude, just with permanent wall hacks you can turn a shitter into a god tier player. The only problem is that wall hacks legitimately exist in the game in perk form and certain add-ons, so it's impossible to tell if a player is the GOAT or if they're hacking.
I think I've had even more subtle hackers. They had wallhacks and maybe 5%ish speed boost not too crazy. I noticed I couldn't catch up like I usually do in some areas with the exact same killer. Play the game long enough you can sense this. One time a Jane ran me around the edge of the jungle gym for like a minute, no short cuts were taken she was just suspiciously fast ran around the corners in a straight line it took so damn long to catch up I was like wtf something ain't right.
I can't end this video. As a casual veteran, this makes my blood boil, because the game is in its best state (barring the UE5 update), but cheaters are still in the game, and either they SWF or they're doing in subtly. It not only ruins the fun of the match, since you're testing different strategies/mindgames, and having none succeed takes a toll on you, especially if you never notice they're hacking, not like this case. I hope to learn to not take it personal like you seem to have and wish you the best matches!

Had my first game with cheaters, they had clearly hacked loadouts/accounts. After killing the first guy they started lag switching making it almost impossible to catch people even outside of loops because they were sliding all iver the place. They even had the nerve to call me a baby killer even though before the lag it was super obvious they barely knew how to loop.

Oh I know the feeling. I played one match and I just couldn't get a hit, but when I played another match I could hit them with the smallest frame ever. I actually blamed the ping but I never thought it could be cheats.

Actually blew my mind that the killer made it to hatch before he did. He knew where the hatch was as soon as it spawned and could've just 200% speed ran to it and left.
It sorta is. Without hacking they would've finished maybe 2 gens. Only with hacks were they able to get all 5 done. The Ace and Vittorio aren't even Ash IV. They're straight Cardboard IV.
I’ve got a ton of hours on this game… and I am 100 okay with losing a bad game… but the ones where you swing, and the corridors are small, there’s no way they can 360 without taking a hit and somehow end up behind you… like it’s super subtle, and some of the times you lose track of them and they don’t have the perks this would justify it… I LOVE good games but then you get some of these small subtle ones that just piss you off. One of the worst blatant ones was a DS… after first down… FIRST down.

It's not in survivor's favour, only in the top 1% it's actually in their favour. So 99% of the time it's in the killers favour. It torments me when people say this when they know little about the game. But yeah they're scum for hacking.

The only sure way I have found to detect subtle cheaters are to watch their feet animation in relation to the ground. If they are faster than usual, their feet seem to slide over the ground in between steps.
So yea... the Vittorio has - prove thyself - botany - self care - Scavenger with Bloody Party Streamers and Commodious Toolbox, not a single one of those increase his speed. and even his toolbox addons wouldn't do anything either.
I had a game like this today, it was a P2 Jill. For the first part of the match she was about 126-130% speed, it took bloodlust 3 (she was still a little quicker) and cutting her off multiple times to get the down and even then it took about 2 and a half minutes (I was freddy and she was oblivious because of his power so I got the first hit for free). But after I got the first hook in and she was rescued, she upped her speed even further, and could cross the nostromo map from one side to the other in about 7 seconds. I knew I couldn't get the down at that point so I killed the rest of the team and hoped for good hatch rng. I got hatch but due to no mobility and her speed I couldn't patrol both gates effectively and she got out.
I rly want to see the chat after the game xD "Cheating and still lost xD" and their reaction will be like *confusion* xD keep up, u did amazing on these idiots, personally if I were to have a cheater in the team then I would of just sit in the corner after throwing all pallets down 😆
That is no longer subtle cheating, i never thought about how fast survivors were, i must have come across some myself because this highlights how fast they shouldn’t look, i don’t play much dbd but this does show that they shouldn’t be this damn fast and i have seen some fast survivors before but i just assume i’d catch up some day idk lol
as a new player i went through so many emotions and gotten twice as better in a span of 1 week due to how toxic this game is and how many hackers i run across. i have recordings and looked back and these guys were wall hacking and they were so fast i couldn’t catch up no matter what and they didn’t even bother vaulting or pallet it was insane. i still don’t know all the perks and tbh i don’t care to know i play for fun and cuz i like ghostface . but the game is so simple and easy it’s not hard to understand game knowledge. some maps i suck but a few i know what to do now

This game exists for years and you can still see survivors running as fast as killer or not going down no matter how many time you hit them. Personally, I hate the hack where they teleport once they are downed. I am always confused af when I see the dying state icon but survivor is nowhere to be found a second after hit.
Reminds me of a killer hacker i went against. It was a chucky. Man was pretty much teleporting. I would see him in one side of the map and suddenly he runs at about a million miles an hour to the other side, slapping someone down. Then carrying the survivor hooks him on my side to then hit me down in one shot.
Not even the subtle hacks are subtle. If I were designing a subtle cheat it would be along the lines of "you get half a stack of bloodlust for every stack the killer gets, all stats universally improved by 1%" But that relies on the concept that cheaters only want or need a slight advantage, when often they get cheats it is to supplement a lack of skill, so such a minute buff wouldn't actually help most cheaters at all. Which is pathetically sad.
I think that the funniest thing of killing a cheater is when they drop shit on you, they call you everything just because they lost even using hacks. They should be ashamed of losing with hacks
I had a match against these people. Similar experience. When I realize someone is cheating I just stop playing with them though. If I see them I just turn and walk the other way. Why should they get a ton of bp and an ego boost at my expense? Even if you win against them it doesn’t stop them from cheating next time. IMO they just make the game boring on both sides. Like how fun is it to play a game you know you’re going to win? It’s so stupid.

@@SkippyBippythat happens to me a lot too it‘s a latency diff, but when I am on the survivor side I get hit through pallet stuns on a constant basis
I usually just stop chasing the speed hackers. They hate being ignored. Just put the Benny Hill music on and watch them run around.

It sorta is. Without hacking they would've finished maybe 2 gens. Only with hacks were they able to get all 5 done. The Ace and Vittorio aren't even Ash IV. They're straight Cardboard IV.
I’ve got a ton of hours on this game… and I am 100 okay with losing a bad game… but the ones where you swing, and the corridors are small, there’s no way they can 360 without taking a hit and somehow end up behind you… like it’s super subtle, and some of the times you lose track of them and they don’t have the perks this would justify it… I LOVE good games but then you get some of these small subtle ones that just piss you off.
One of the worst blatant ones was a DS… after first down… FIRST down.

Hopefully BHVR keeps taking steps to prevent and ban hackers like this, but luckily for us we have a pro like you to teach them a little humility in the meantime 👏🏽🖤

The only sure way I have found to detect subtle cheaters are to watch their feet animation in relation to the ground. If they are faster than usual, their feet seem to slide over the ground in between steps.
I love how every hacker in this game ever is a player that just looks forward instead of keeping the cam on killer. Really tells you why they need it

So yea... the Vittorio has - prove thyself - botany - self care - Scavenger with Bloody Party Streamers and Commodious Toolbox, not a single one of those increase his speed. and even his toolbox addons wouldn't do anything either.

I had a game like this today, it was a P2 Jill. For the first part of the match she was about 126-130% speed, it took bloodlust 3 (she was still a little quicker) and cutting her off multiple times to get the down and even then it took about 2 and a half minutes (I was freddy and she was oblivious because of his power so I got the first hit for free). But after I got the first hook in and she was rescued, she upped her speed even further, and could cross the nostromo map from one side to the other in about 7 seconds. I knew I couldn't get the down at that point so I killed the rest of the team and hoped for good hatch rng. I got hatch but due to no mobility and her speed I couldn't patrol both gates effectively and she got out.
I rly want to see the chat after the game xD "Cheating and still lost xD" and their reaction will be like *confusion* xD keep up, u did amazing on these idiots, personally if I were to have a cheater in the team then I would of just sit in the corner after throwing all pallets down 😆
That is no longer subtle cheating, i never thought about how fast survivors were, i must have come across some myself because this highlights how fast they shouldn’t look, i don’t play much dbd but this does show that they shouldn’t be this damn fast and i have seen some fast survivors before but i just assume i’d catch up some day idk lol
Marathon burst- new rare perk only hackers can obtain, for ever 2 seconds the killer chases you, gain 2% more speed with no exhaustion.
Worst part is subtle cheaters will gaslight you when you call them out. "What do you mean I cheated, you still caught me, lol."

as a new player i went through so many emotions and gotten twice as better in a span of 1 week due to how toxic this game is and how many hackers i run across. i have recordings and looked back and these guys were wall hacking and they were so fast i couldn’t catch up no matter what and they didn’t even bother vaulting or pallet it was insane. i still don’t know all the perks and tbh i don’t care to know i play for fun and cuz i like ghostface . but the game is so simple and easy it’s not hard to understand game knowledge. some maps i suck but a few i know what to do now

Nah, not a problem with the game. The survivors were just ass 😂 Don’t suck and it will be more in your favor. Them cheating and loosing shows they’re cheating BECAUSE they’re bad..but the cheating wasn’t enough to make up for their lack of skill 💀

This game exists for years and you can still see survivors running as fast as killer or not going down no matter how many time you hit them.
Personally, I hate the hack where they teleport once they are downed. I am always confused af when I see the dying state icon but survivor is nowhere to be found a second after hit.
Reminds me of a killer hacker i went against. It was a chucky. Man was pretty much teleporting. I would see him in one side of the map and suddenly he runs at about a million miles an hour to the other side, slapping someone down. Then carrying the survivor hooks him on my side to then hit me down in one shot.

Not even the subtle hacks are subtle. If I were designing a subtle cheat it would be along the lines of "you get half a stack of bloodlust for every stack the killer gets, all stats universally improved by 1%"
But that relies on the concept that cheaters only want or need a slight advantage, when often they get cheats it is to supplement a lack of skill, so such a minute buff wouldn't actually help most cheaters at all. Which is pathetically sad.
I think that the funniest thing of killing a cheater is when they drop shit on you, they call you everything just because they lost even using hacks. They should be ashamed of losing with hacks

I had a match against these people. Similar experience. When I realize someone is cheating I just stop playing with them though. If I see them I just turn and walk the other way. Why should they get a ton of bp and an ego boost at my expense? Even if you win against them it doesn’t stop them from cheating next time. IMO they just make the game boring on both sides. Like how fun is it to play a game you know you’re going to win? It’s so stupid.
