- Found the FWD in Michigan on craigslist in spring of 2015. There was a hole in the block and had been sitting in a field for years. The 2WD (engine donor) was bought from a neighbor 10 yrs ago and was in bad cosmetic shape as well.
Another beauty saved. Incredible work, what a nice tractor that 1594 is!

I have a question concerning the “transfer case”. If I had a 2wd and could source a front axle and other parts, could I simply bolt the T case to the tractor somewhere, or is the complete transmission assembly different? Thanks, and keep up the great work.
The transmission housing and transmission itself are both different on 2wd vs 4wd models.

I owned this same tractor back in the 80's the power shift sucked & sucked & sucked the dealership never could fix the darn thing I finally lost money on a trade.
i had a 1494 with the same problem.

Love the video music was PERFECT :) We've got an open station 84 1594 2WD I'm considering going through as there's only about 150 hours on the engine rebuild, but the rest of it needs help.

Question is that a special did that start life as a 1496 protertype judging by the cab and bonnet shape
No, we simply used the parts from the open 4wd and cabbed 2wd to build a 4wd cab version. All parts are original that would have been found on a new 1594 except for the maxxum exhaust and additional work lights.
+hogslayer are parts still available in USA for these tractors. cos ere in the UK you can no longer buy new crankshafts? great job by the way 👍👍
