    A sadist kills for pleasure. A mercenary kills for money. Marines do it for both.

    We used to joke and laugh about our class commander in MCCESS and use his name interchanged with Chuck Norris jokes. He is and will ever be the red tab bad-ass that is Chuck Norris' father.

      Jacob Barnhart , get some! Just make sure that when you earn the EGA, you maintain your discipline and military bearing. There’s nothing more honorable than a badass who walks humbly, never brags, and isn’t seeking to show off - But rather, steps up and does what he needs to not in word but in *action.*
      A warrior embraces the philosophy of stoicism, and is silently professional. Remember that.

    • @wallsofmine
      @wallsofmine 8 років тому +4

      You have to earn a black belt in MCMAP and an instructor tab to even apply for this course.
      I myself haven't taken the course but the Marines in my unit that have taken it said it was one of the worst best experiences of their life.

    • @StrangeXavier
      @StrangeXavier 8 років тому

      It's optional. You have to be a black belt Martial Arts Instructor (tan tab) before you can take this course (red tab).

    Any martial artist who knows what they're talking about knows that you can't learn a martial art program in a few weeks. I mean I guess they can teach these guys how to punch or choke but put any marine against a real fighter..hand to hand id put my money on the fighter

    • @jimenex13
      @jimenex13 8 років тому +16

      ok dumb fuck. It's training for combat in war. Not in a fucking octagon. I bet a fighter can't beat a MARSOC marine

    • @briannguyen5725
      @briannguyen5725 8 років тому +13

      +jake smith put any Marine against a "real fighter" in a REAL FIGHT and that Marine is going to show that "real" fighter a REAL FIGHT. He's not there to get the "real fighter" to tap out or knocked out.
      Marines ARE the real fighters
      and martial artists are just pros in their own field, whereas Marines own the field of combat since 1775, any clime and place

    • @delvesdg
      @delvesdg 8 років тому +15

      +jake smith The MCMAP program is not a couple weeks long. The program described in the video is the only the instructors course. You apply for this program once you go through the entire MCMAP program and obtain a black belt, then decide you want to teach the MCMAP program. The MCMAP course as it was described when I when through the tan belt portion over ten years ago was; 30-40 hours of training for each belt. So in real world time about a promotion every 10 months or so, a black belt in about 4 years, and you have to be of a certain ranks to achieve a certain belts.

      Jake Smith we don't train to fuck around in some stupid octagon,we train to win on the battlefield there's a difference between a fighter and a warrior! Semper Fidelis!!!
