    Awesome adventure, thanks for sharing. Sometimes it seems like those tough days are what really 'earn' the trip! Glad you are able to include it as part of the whole experience. And I'm a bit jealous of those drone shots, I know you've said elsewhere that it takes a long time to setup for not much footage, but it really adds a huge amount to the video. On that one river crossing, did you have it stationary to pan as you crossed?

    • @kdemotorsports
      @kdemotorsports  6 років тому

      Thank you for watching. I agree about earning the trip. Although at times things can feel downright miserable they are also the things you remember the most. Also the drone footage is really unmatched that’s why I keep doing it, nothing captures things the same way. And since you were asking the shot you’re referring to was also a drone shot. I use it like a tripod by just having it hover in place. It has a tracking feature that at low speeds does work to create the pan effect. These are all tricks you have to do when riding solo since obviously no one else is available to operate the camera. Glad you enjoyed it.

      Definitely one worth doing. I don’t remember exactly what month it was but it was early spring. I obviously wouldn’t recommend that 😂 unless you just want a story to tell. I did from the southern border to Wyalusing state park last weekend. Planning on doing more next weekend. Can you tell me which part or where in the trail that part is where you stopped and got off to look at the little river going through the forest at 15:40 in the video? What a pretty little stream.

    • @kdemotorsports
      @kdemotorsports  6 років тому

      I can’t recall exactly but it was about half way into day 2 and I did 300 miles on day 1. So pretty far north and where it really starts to get good. The southern bit is scenic but more roads. As you get further north a lot less pavement and more trails, logging roads and really great wilderness.
