How does it get such powerful currents out of that little plastic pinwheel-looking thing? Are there little jet-nozzles in the plastic that don't show up on camera?
Yeah, the pulsator spins very fast and with the shape of the tub helps too.

Splashmatic or tanglematic, they were always a bit leaky, my aunti had one, Mum was smarter and had a hotpoint.
From owning this Hoover and a Hotpoint, the Hotpoint is definitely more refined
i have the later 3334 version with the thermostat, it needs a clean bless it but it still works

@@revooh1 I’m afraid I’ve no idea, I’m not familiar with the models they had.
There was no earlier 3334 without a thermostat unless the commentator means the 3174 which was the first Hoovermatic 1957-61. There were two unheated versions 3444 and 3345A

Hi, I just have the two, the Hoover and the Hotpoint, I’ve asked around but no one is selling at the moment, I guess EBay and Gumtree or maybe FB marketplace one might turn up. I hope you do get one as they’re fun to use.

The machine my mother had till 1986. Was shit scared of it for about four years because the spinner part would make boom boom banging sounds if not loaded correctly

Those flexible hoses are utter rubbish.
They really don’t last long tbh
