Masters of their trade, and some of them like Ken Walker the band leader (upright bass) and Eric Gunnison (piano) are local Denver scene music educators. The amazing drummer Paul Romaine left Denver to New York a few years ago, but fortunately for us came right back! It was such a treat to share this evening out with you guys! We're lucky to have Dazzle, one of the top jazz venues in the world here in Denver. In spite of missing the very beginning, it was an amazing rendition of Horace Silver's "Mexican Hat Dance". I'm ready for more outings live this! 👍

Snappy stuff! Been to Dazzle, nice cosy venue. We used to hang at the Mercury alot, years ago, poetry readings with the occasional jazz gig.

These guys are all really great players, and I know he’s really great too but Quentin Tarantino’s brother on drums was a bit distracting.
