The people at Flea Markets that try and sell things based off of "eBay prices" are completely ignorant. It is a Flea Market, not eBay, give people a good deal.
"$3 or $2 is cheap, $5 is all right"....wtf, seriously? If I could even find $5 nes games in my area I'd cry like a little girl on Christmas morning...
Great to see you back, Pat! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the CUPodcast and Ian, but I think here is where you shine the brightest (heck, you're one of the first if not THE first "flea market finds" show on here)! Happy hunting from a fellow SD trooper
Holy shit Pat. I almost wet myself when I saw the title "Flea Market Madness Vol. 21". Thanks for keeping this going. About 2 years ago I came across a Flea Market Madness video. That first video that I watched had me hooked and I went on a FMM binge. I soon started collecting the old games I played as a child (NES, SNES, and Genesis) because of your video uploads (I've probably seen all of them). Those videos led me to Retroware and their friends as well. Thanks.
Just had an operation a few days ago on my eyes and can barely see. It hasn't been a good week, but I really enjoy your videos Pat. This made my day :)
Picked up Paperboy yesterday, complete in box from a pawn shop for 15 bucks. For everyone who says retro collecting is dead, just keep looking around. Hit the pavement and be patient, games are out there.
I had no idea what that game was where frank's face is on the robot, and i've been watching flea market madness for like a year. I bought a TG16 and it came with Keith Courage this past summer, and when I booted it up it was like nostalgia for a game i never had, thanks to these videos!
I remember that even up to 2002, you could find used game stores that charged flat rates for NES games, or charged 5$ max per game. I even remember one store that still exists to this day, mainly because they had several locations, but they had back in 1999 all their NES games for only 1.99 or 3 for 5$!
Whoa I used to have that Millennium Falcon as a kid. That was many years before I ever saw any Star Wars movies though, so I had no idea what the heck it was, but I still thought it was a badass toy. Also, overcast in San Diego? WTF?
Was happy and *SUPER* jealous when I saw that Pat found Donkey Kong SNES bundle here in #21. My brother and I (now passed) Flipped-Out when we got that unwrapped as the finale present for Xmas... 95? Somehow the box must have been thrown out when I wasn't looking BITD. Doubt I'll find one at a swap shop again but I'll keep looking on Maine. ~Kyle
I once found an Imperial Walker toy from 2010 based on the animated series, it was missing 3 doors in total but had everything else. its one of those medium dog sized toys, and I got it for 6$. I then promptly traded it for Chocobo Tales and Spirit Tracks for the DS! for me it was a great deal, but to this day I have no concept of what newer star wars stuff is worth
Great episode, well done on getting the Galaxian table top for such a great price, they go for stupid prices down here, even at the markets as the regulars scoop up any that come through from the casuals and mark them up heaps!
Just a quick note: the power cord for the XBox and PS1 are interchangeable. It's literally the same double-barrel connector. And I find the XBox to be a decent console, especially after it's been modded, which is almost braindead-simple if you can read and follow directions. Makes for a great emulation console because it will run CPS2 and Neo Geo titles at full speed. Also, when it comes to the Genesis, avoid the model 3 like the PLAGUE. It's okay in the sound and video department, but some games don't work with it. You ideally want a "High Definition Graphics" model 1 without TMSS (the splash screen).
well i just watch this entire playlist Pat the NES Punk I bow down to your teachings of greatness you have well earned a sub from me. I sit here awaiting our nest lesson in swapmeet game/nerd hunting
We only have a flea market once a year here and there is only one game guy who has come every year. I never managed to get any thing off him because all the good stuff was gone till this year. I got a working Sega Saturn with 5 games no cords and a working genesis no games for 50 bucks. One of the Saturn games was unmarked and turned out to be panzer dragoon saga all four disk working. So twelve years of trying and it finally paid off.
I go to that same swap meet and I saw that old man selling the Famicom and same games (at least pacman) months ago. I'm glad to see he hasn't sold it. Ridiculous prices.
You probably explain this a lot but whats the deal with re sellers? I mean is it frowned upon to resell? I am not a big game collector but I know with the things I do collect people usually will sell to each other.
Some guy is going around acting like he wants people's products and buys them cheap. He then goes to his own booth and resells them for Ebay prices without doing any of the work to sell it on Ebay and making it inconvenient and expensive.
Man anyone that lives in america is super lucky when it comes to game collecting. Over here in australia the best I'v ever come across was a bare bones snes (no leads or controllers) for $50
These are the only good videos you post just being honest. I've given your reviews a chance cuz you were on some episodes of AVGN and I'm not crazy about them. These however are really original and just gold. You never know what you might find at the swap very good videos please keep making these their awesome!
Pat do you hit resale shops at all? I've gotten some crazy stuff at resale shops. I mention it because those prices were high. Even that Xbox @ $20 was to high. I normally find better stuff at resale shops and garage sales. In fact there are just too many re-sellers at flea markets.
I just got an Xbox controller this morning for $2 at a resale shop(I'll be making a quick video on it today). The smaller official one. Also got a Gamecube for $5. Good price to me is dirt cheap, although even at $5 that's a good price. I avoid paying as much as possible. I've got videos showing what I pick up and what I pay for it. Flea markets are full of re-sellers and most thrift and resale shops function on donations(at least the ones in my area do).
Coming from someone who is certainly cheaper than you, just because you can't get something for a lower price (that's almost always possible) doesn't mean that the price they are offering isn't a good deal. If I try to buy a xbox online, for example, it's so heavy that I would pay 20 bucks for shipping, even if the console itself is essentially worthless.
Right, but in this instance(at a flea market) $20 for an original Xbox with two controllers is not an amazing or even a "good" deal. I'm also just attempting to explain that flea markets are NOT a good place to find things cheap. Most people there are resellers and charge way too much. Like you said yourself it's almost always possible to find a better deal.
Can anyone help me out. What is he actually referring to (in a seemingly negative way) in regards to "dealers" and "re sellers" at these flea markets. Thanks in advance :)
SuperNintendoZach I never see Neo Geo and PC-Engine/Turbo grafx stuff at flea markets/swap meets.I definitely would have tried to haggle with the person.
Never stop making these Pat
The stuff you find at these never cease to amaze me. These wouldn't come up in a million years in the flea markets/swap meets where I live.
That guy laughing at the thought of a discount was priceless.
The people at Flea Markets that try and sell things based off of "eBay prices" are completely ignorant. It is a Flea Market, not eBay, give people a good deal.
Retards are....welll.... ya know
Never a good sign when you try to negotiate with someone on a price and they just continue to laugh. Props for not slapping that guy in the face.
"$3 or $2 is cheap, $5 is all right"....wtf, seriously? If I could even find $5 nes games in my area I'd cry like a little girl on Christmas morning...

Do basically Pat is the gateway drug to an collecting habbit lol
Just had an operation a few days ago on my eyes and can barely see. It hasn't been a good week, but I really enjoy your videos Pat.
This made my day :)
I can watch these all day. I'm still crackin up on the reseller alert. The look on his face is priceless.
I'm on a journey to watch all Flea Market Madness episodes, newest to oldest!
Yeah! My favorite series on this channel!
My favourite series on the entirety of UA-cam.
+milkwad Best series to binge watch since Breaking Bad.
Picked up Paperboy yesterday, complete in box from a pawn shop for 15 bucks. For everyone who says retro collecting is dead, just keep looking around. Hit the pavement and be patient, games are out there.
Gratz on finally shooting an episode in HD. Welcome to 2014! :)
That bloody jingle is my favourite content Pat's ever produced.
I had no idea what that game was where frank's face is on the robot, and i've been watching flea market madness for like a year.
I bought a TG16 and it came with Keith Courage this past summer, and when I booted it up it was like nostalgia for a game i never had, thanks to these videos!
love these Flea Market Madness videos, I can leave the house vicariously!
5:05 ... that part is extremly funny if you have seen all the previous Flea Market Madness episodes XD
Thats some nice Super Mario Land 2 Wario Fighting music at the end. Nice touch!
I remember that even up to 2002, you could find used game stores that charged flat rates for NES games, or charged 5$ max per game. I even remember one store that still exists to this day, mainly because they had several locations, but they had back in 1999 all their NES games for only 1.99 or 3 for 5$!
5:10 was that Wario the reseller?
Hahaha the people at the booth looked so horrified when Frank was saying it's like a car without an engine.
I starded to sing this intro after getting up the bed, omg, this is too much :P
Always love a new Flea Market Madness. Thanks, Pat! :D
Whoa I used to have that Millennium Falcon as a kid. That was many years before I ever saw any Star Wars movies though, so I had no idea what the heck it was, but I still thought it was a badass toy.
Also, overcast in San Diego? WTF?
Yup, it can happen. You sometimes have a lot of clouds that sit there until the ocean winds can blow them away in the late morning.
Frank "I'm not really game.. guy.." Pat "No!?" Haha
My favorite show on your channel. I think I die a little inside every time I see that Clay Fighter's Sculptor's cut priced at $5.
I make that same noise in my head when I see the local resellers at my swap! Surprised you got him on vid talking this time lmao! RyanNESnut
2:29
It would be HIGHLY entertaining to see Ian dragged around by Pat at one of these swap meets...
When he said "10 bucks on duck hunt" I was thinking walk away right now
love this video series. that table with all those cables on it, holy crap!
I can't stand that I have to work the weekendsI love this show Pat keep it going please.
Thats the Kobey flea market by Sports Arena in San Diego. I used to live near there. Pat, you should do a fan meet up there for us SD residents.
Was happy and *SUPER* jealous when I saw that Pat found Donkey Kong SNES bundle here in #21. My brother and I (now passed) Flipped-Out when we got that unwrapped as the finale present for Xmas... 95? Great episode pat. Me and my son love watching flea market madness.
I once found an Imperial Walker toy from 2010 based on the animated series, it was missing 3 doors in total but had everything else. its one of those medium dog sized toys, and I got it for 6$. I just saw Pat on TV! He was trying to sell a gold Nintendo world championship cart
Bring us more FLEA MARKET MADNESS!!!
Good on you for finally getting some camera glasses or something other than shaky camera stuff.
The song at the end I believe is from the game Paperboy
Just a quick note: the power cord for the XBox and PS1 are interchangeable. It's literally the same double-barrel connector.

Frank Sinatra's mugshot is when he was booked for "Seduction". No lie.
Christ Pat, how many SNES systems do you own? Lmao.
What's the music from at the end? Reminds me of Donkey Kong (the one based on the arcade game, not Country) on the GameBoy, but fairly sure it isn't.
Thank you. All these years later and I still don't know how I missed SML2, I had a GameBoy and was buying games for it.
Its daurude sandstorm
Ethan Wickman Haha. That was clever.
Ethan Wickman
ROFLMFAO
Pat. Have Frank drink a beer.. and talk to him about old movies and record it. It would be Gold.
Does anybody know what was the game he referenced with the robot with Franks head know it?! 4:13
loving the reference to Keith Courage!
I wish we had a real flea market here in ALbuquerque.
Love the flea market madness videos.
:) I prayed to Frank for some flea market madness.
thanks for the great video these are my favorite of the ones you post.
Hey! That Donkey Kong Country bundle was the set I grew up with!
''-I'm not a collector, I don't know... --well, go for it! if U want it'' wow, You Pat, are so kind for him :P :DD
well i just watch this entire playlist Pat the NES Punk I bow down to your teachings of greatness you have well earned a sub from me. I sit here awaiting our nest lesson in swapmeet game/nerd hunting
Lovin the SML2 boss music at the end.
Nice score on the SNES man!
Silly question you may have answered before but how do you film these episodes? Secret cam or just straight up walking round with a cam phone?
We only have a flea market once a year here and there is only one game guy who has come every year. I never managed to get any thing off him because all the good stuff was gone till this year. You missed that awesome silver at 5:29!
i was also on the chess team in high school pat and im dang proud of it!
Hey, what's the NES-sounding music at the end?
wondering as well
Wow it's rare to see Neo Geo AES games at a garage sale.
AES games at a flea market is just nuts. I would have taken the whole lot.
Is this the one you shot with the camera glasses that shot a tad higher then you were looking?
I pray nightly that one day i will awake as FRANK.
i got the donkey kong set when i was a kid, still have the game and the system. one of the best platformers period.
I'd come runnin Pat
I go to that same swap meet and I saw that old man selling the Famicom and same games (at least pacman) months ago. I'm glad to see he hasn't sold it. Ridiculous prices.
I got scared when the reseller looked directly into the camera...
Nice flea market finds.
You get all those good deals! at my flea market its reseler after reseler.
You probably explain this a lot but whats the deal with re sellers? I mean is it frowned upon to resell? I am not a big game collector but I know with the things I do collect people usually will sell to each other.

Man anyone that lives in america is super lucky when it comes to game collecting. Over here in australia the best I'v ever come across was a bare bones snes (no leads or controllers) for $50
These flea markets are just amazing, you'd be lucky to find Xbox games or older at my local one.
Passing up on that RA2 kinda rustles my jimmies.
My Flea Market doesn't have much, even re-sellers hardly have anything interesting. But it's nice to just walk around.
Gotta be careful with those famicoms. There are so many famiclones that look identical..
Man, if I had more money you'd see me at the flea market every weekend.
Quality banter.
Man what type of flea markets do you go to gosh it looks like the things I'm looking for is not extinct
When is this recorded? The video quality seems to be a bit better ;) Great video as always!
I love theese Flea market episodes :)

Had the donkey kong country snes combo when I was a kid.. Been looking for it for a while. 50 dollars is a great deal!
Pat always wondered what kind of camera do you use?
what nes game music is that at the end of this episode? I remember the music but not the name. Shit is dope. Love these episodes Pat!
wondering as well, sounds like tekkno :)
That galaxian game I saw going for $50 a piece at my local flea in worse condition
That reseller with the glasses sell for over ebay prices!
Pat do you hit resale shops at all? I've gotten some crazy stuff at resale shops.
I mention it because those prices were high. Even that Xbox @ $20 was to high. I normally find better stuff at resale shops and garage sales. In fact there are just too many re-sellers at flea markets.
It was the xbox and both controllers. So it was a good price. You can't get the controllers for less than 5 bucks if they are in good shape.

YAY ITS BACK
Right next to the first reseller, is that Will Farrell?
i go to the sports arena one a bunch of times and i have never seen that many video games at all
Can anyone help me out. What is he actually referring to (in a seemingly negative way) in regards to "dealers" and "re sellers" at these flea markets. Thanks in advance :)
man, what flea market is that?a Sega genesis for five bucks?!I would love that!
😇
It's too bad some of those Neo Geo AES games were just empty cases. Those are really hard to find. I probably would have tried to buy them.
SuperNintendoZach I never see Neo Geo and PC-Engine/Turbo grafx stuff at flea markets/swap meets.I definitely would have tried to haggle with the person.
Yes a new flea market madness
Does Pat bring his hair with him when he goes to the flee market or is it in a safety deposit box ?
Sweet! Great as it's always is.
Great as always. Pat, would you buy Plumbers Don't Wear Ties if you saw it?
