When I heard truffle oil somehow my mind switched to MC and I heard Gordon Ramsay telling all about how it’s the a big “no no” in a professional kitchen and the collective hatred of every single chef in the world for it. I believe it was one weird flashback to one episode when he particularly roasted someone for using it. 😂

you have not really had true smoked salmon until you have had it in Canada. real smoked salmon is not raw thin strips, it is cooked thick pieces in a wood smoker and the taste and tecture is amazing!!!
Huh. I thought Canadians were supposed to be polite. "True" smoked salmon, how moronic! Particularly when what you seem to mean is cooked, not cold smoked till perfectly finished, no matter what size the pieces are - as smoking salmon is a preservative measure, not fixing dinner. I'm partial to hickory smoked salmon, like my dad made, but my friend from Washington state does a wonderful apple wood smoke on his - delicious. I've enjoyed what I had in GB too, was much lighter, more delicate. You wouldn't appreciate any of it. One of those provincials, that has to have things their own special way, just as they've always been, poor dear!

Lehandra and Joe and Tara and Lindsey were the most good natured, happy couples. Michelle and Cameron didn't really seem like a fun couple. They didn't seem to interact with each other as the other couples. They come across as two serious duds. I think the only reason Michelle was laughing alot when she was at Joe and Lehandra's is that she must have had alot to drink. Lindsey and Tara seemed be able to be silly and just have fun together. Sure, Lindsey's jokes were quirky, he enjoyed being silly.
Cameron knew it was Riesling, with ries to rhyme with fleas and trees, and not Riesling where ries rhymes with fries or spies or pies 😉 the nice Zumba bloke should listen to him. 😁
