Had not even realized that my connection with Heavenly Father could even get that strong. Thank you guys for bringing Charlie in for this interview, Her story was so real and foundational, we can all regardless of our current feelings and growth learn something profound from this story.
Absolutely beautiful girl inside and out! What a beautiful testimony and conversion story. Made my month! I was just set apart to be an ordinance worker in the Philadelphia temple. It would be a slice of pure heaven to see her in any one of our Savior's temples. Whomever is blessed to have her for 'all time and eternity' will have true joy and happiness that cannot be obtained in any other way other than the covenant path that she is on. I wish her continued success. She will no doubt lead many to Christ in her mortal life and beyond. Many will 'see Christ through her.'
Please keep doing these conversion stories. They always help me realize different things about my own conversion that I had not thought of before. These are all so uplifting and a great reminder of my decision that I know was right. The missionaries are great people and have such a light about them. The connection is just a strong and amazing feeling.
I love hearing conversion stories. I grew up in the faith, but never went on a mission. Despite all of the negativity bashing our Church and leaders, people still join and find the truth, this helps me to feel less shy of sharing the truth.
Charlie's story is literally the most inspiring story I've ever heard. Hearing about how she put post-it notes around her house made me wish that I had already done that. I don't know if I'll ever actually do it, but if I do I'll know who to thank alongside God. Love Saints Unscripted!! :-)

Wonderful conversion story. It wasn’t Nike, but God who touched your mind and your heart in a special way while you watched the Nike ad and gave you your answer. I have had many experiences like that. Once, I was listening to a preacher on the radio who was pontificating about why he thought Mormonism is wrong. Somehow, the Spirit spoke to my mind and heart and testified of what the truth really was - even while this guy was essentially trying to disprove it. It was a precious experience that helped me to better understand how God speaks to me in a language I understand.
Charlie's story warmed my heart!! My son is serving a mission and I have learned firsthand how hard it is. She is amazing. I wish her the best!! Great video 💙
WOW! My story is very similar to hers! I met a guy who was a member of the church through a dating app and my first thought was wow, I really like this guy but he's part of this crazy cult! I also relate to her feeling like God "set her up" for the church. I've never liked coffee or tea or drinking, and I've been clean from drugs for over a year (drugs just being marijuana) so the word of wisdom is easy for me to follow!

I find it highly ironic how the majority of people that call us a cult are OTHER Christians. It blows my mind.... When Christianity first came to the Earth with Christ, people called Christ's followers a cult because of what Christ taught, how it was different than the law of Moses. This is how they justified the killing of Christ and the apostles. During the dark ages, Medieval Christians were convinced Islam was a cult.... that's how they justified the crusades. Alas, when the gospel was restored in the 1800s with our church, everyone was convinced we were a cult too... that's how they justified the killing of innocent people and the expulsion of us from Nauvoo (among other places). You can believe what you want, but when you try to tell other people what they should or shouldn't believe, that's when I have an issue.

Hello. I was wondering if Charlie could share what was said that made her feel better about the priesthood & temple ban on black people? I struggle with that one. Not really because Brigham was a racist, I get he was a product of his time. I struggle with the implication of that change means to the truthfulness of what any prophet says, including President Nelson, since what Brigham taught as doctrine from the pulpit has now been disavowed by later prophets. How do I know the same thing won't happen to what President Nelson is saying today? If so, then what makes President Nelson a prophet at all, rather than just another man? Do you see my struggle? Any advice would help. Thank you, enjoyed the interview.
I testify that President Nelson is a prophet of God. You aren't going to be able to prove it. You need to listen more to your heart rather than try to use logic to figure it out.
If it helps, try reading the D&C. It sets forth the principles of revelation for all Prophets. If you are struggling to discern whether a teaching is personal opinion or doctrine, check the scriptures. When a Prophet offers new Revelation, it is confirmed by the Twelve and presented to the common body of the Church. For all of BY's rhetoric, that was never done with regards to the restriction. When modern Apostles and Prophets speak, we can compare their words with each other and the Standard Works. Things will change in the future. Someday we might return to a three hour block, or longer. Or shorter. Other programs and policies will change. Searching the scriptures in daily home study will help us all adapt when adaptation is needed.

@@jasonsellers56 thank you for answering my problem. I went to Church on an invitation from 2 Sisters helping me find Jesus Christ and God to be closer to them and follow his steps. I plan to go back this Sunday and see what happens because I was told that this Sunday is Bible Study that I am more towards because I said that I know nothing of the Book of Mormon. Thank you all for helping me out in these trying times.
I watched the video again, and I don't see anything wrong with his posture. They are probably sitting on bar stools or a bench with no back. Maybe that's why you think that?
Hi, I'm a Christian and I've studied the Mormon faith for 25 years. Christians are people who know that they were lost and spirituality 'dead' in their sins and were therefore eternally separated from God, but have now accepted Christ as their savior and Lord, now believing that Jesus died for their sins on Calvary, (it's wonderfully simple, and simply wonderful, the love of God!) This is all recorded exclusively for us in God's word the Holy Bible. This dear young lady never mentioned any of this, even though it is the heart of the Bible's true and everlasting gospel, the way to salvation. If she really has become a Christian that's how it happened, but she didn't mention it, did she? To those investigating the Mormon faith, STOP and think, do you want to join a church that in reality bases everything it believes and does on the teachings of one man (Joseph Smith) and his claimed revelations from God. A man so exalted by them that they believe his writings are scripture and equal to the Bible in authority. So exalted that they sing praises to him. So exalted that they believe he translated and corrected 'errors' in the Bible. So exalted that when he says that people can become a God, they believe it ,and willi give a lifetime of faithful obedience to the Mormon church's leadership, rules and regulations. If that is what you are after, the Mormon faith is for you. This dear soul has not found the God of the Holy Bible or the Christian faith, she has found the Mormon church and Joseph Smith. Please don't make that mistake, trust and prayerfully read the Bible, particularly the gospels,( Matthew Mark Luke and John). Believe and do what it says, if it doesn't clearly teach it, don't do it! It's all you need. You will come to a knowledge and saving faith in Christ Jesus. Love thank praise obey and trust Christ alone, and not a man. God bless you, best wishes and kind regards.
We are the Church of Jesus Christ. We accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. Joseph Smith testified that salvation comes through Christ. The Book of Mormon testifies of Christ. We also read the Bible and believe that it is the word of God.
This is her story of her conversion. That matter of coming to Christ you mentioned is part of our doctrine. Even if she was telling her story more than giving her testimony that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Apparently, you haven't studied it very hard the last 25 years. First mistake: Not everything we believe came from Joseph Smith, we accept and study all of the prophets from the old and new testaments!

Hi, I'm a Christian and I've studied the Mormon faith for 25 years.
Christians are people who know that they were lost and spirituality 'dead' in their sins and were therefore eternally separated from God, but have now accepted Christ as their savior and Lord, now believing that Jesus died for their sins on Calvary, (it's wonderfully simple, and simply wonderful, the love of God!)
This is all recorded exclusively for us in God's word the Holy Bible.
First mistake: Not everything we believe came from Joseph Smith, we accept and study all of the prophets from the old and new testaments!
conversion to another faith from another faith is a very common occurrence in all religious group, so this occurrence doesn't prove anything
