Right plus using enhancements on kids is not good. I say only use enhancements when the client is asking for it/ they have somewhere special to be after the cut.

Enhancements are when u dont have enough hair for a super crisp lineup. Younger kids don't have any receding hairlines like the large majority of older adults.

Memo made the kids headshape come out like a raindrop. Should have flared the clippers over come out some more. Everything else was crisp. But I would be upset if I got a raindrop. I have that kind of head, where if you go in to much it comes out with a bad shape.
Elias Alba I think it looks clean and transitions well to his headshape almost like a custom fit. some people dont like that bulky style. It’s all preference. Every client likes different things just gotta make sure and ask them in the consultation.

It looks like the top sides go in a little. Thats because the kids skull shape. But us as barbers should take that into consideration in every cut. 🎯🔥💯

I learned the clipper over comb technique plus I learned that I can just go into the #1 guard and then to the 1/16th guard. I usually bald out the bottom, then clipper no guard open about 1 inch, then #1 guard closed , then #2 and then I blend using the 0 guard. Im going to use this technique to blend my hair more evenly. I tell you what I don't like about cutting my hair is holding the clippers and blending the back of my head

Read some comment. Definitely looked like a mid fade to me. I'm not a professional but mid he went midway up and faded. I thought the bald line determined the level and if im right the bald line started mid. Either way better than my little skill. He did a great job.

defintely havent tried this fading technique with those exact steps! worked really well!! one question though, and this isn't hate, i am actually really trying to learn... so, when using clipper over comb in the back, did you remove most of the crown, and if so, is it okay to do it like how you did? i really am curious, because i tend to struggle with that area, and usually try to preserve the crown, even when its super difficulty..
