can we talk about viruses for a moment, please, Dr Thupten?... first of all, let's compare notes.. definition of a virus...
a cluster of RNA molecules in an organic crystalline substance... they are said to infect the host organism and start replication of new viruses within our cells ..
my brother was Dr Thomas E Carew at UCSD in California.. in biomedical engineering.. his research was what brought us the understanding of how hardening of the arteries leads to myocardial infarction, leading cause of death in the western World 🌎.. my dad was a physicist... I started asking questions about chemistry when I was 3.. I'm still asking questions...
1... only fatty acids and lipids pass through cell walls
2... RNA by itself does not have the necessary ingredients for life.. unless you believe in magic
3... RNA transcription is a well known process that involves both DNA and RNA... which means your body can only replicate your RNA
RNA carries the instructions for Life.. passed unchanged from the mother into the next generation.. from the Human Genome Project
except for "cosmic accident"... which means your RNA is unique.. Your DNA is unique... they work together much like programmable logic controllers do in factory automation... but my cells cannot replicate your RNA... because it's definitely not magic
now .. let's talk about those stupid masks... the threads and fibers, and the gaps in between are measured in 10ths of a millimeter...
a virus is said to be... measured in nanometers... a thousandth of a thousandth of a millimeter... the idea that masks will prevent the spread of a virus.. may only be accurate by default
I think... which means I don't know... I think what we are calling a virus is spread by sneezing out bits of dead cells that our body replaced.. probably right inside the sinuses.. pathogens cause cell mortality. .. stress and lack of the correct nutrition are involved.. infection is involved... unburned hydrocarbons in the air are involved... as my body becomes healthier I am less susceptible to infection.. so I get a reaction much like hay fever from my wife's sneezing... but I don't get sick.. even though she has the flu... or whatever... I don't live in the city.. the air is relatively clean.. and I drink bottled water and juice.. and coffee...
I lived in inexpensive motels last summer.. away from home... street people and the homeless all around.. stopping by to chat... share my meals.. I didn't get sick.. I think I wore a mask 4 or 5 times and not very well.. I pulled them down so I can breathe...
so.. I don't actually believe in COVID.. and.. it's not because I am crazy... watching TV and expecting the truth is though
social distancing is... prevention of people talking... of people shaking hands, hugging.. and kissing... the most important lubricant we have.. those behaviors allow us to live together peacefully... suspicion and fear do not
as His Holiness always says....
therefore
perhaps we should examine the demands of our government (s)..
science is all about measuring the Universe we live in... measurements mean mathematics... if you don't see the math... it's just blah blah blah
