I am going to make this immediately!!! Been looking at peacock everything on the internet for years. Your tutorial never showed up in my feed until today. Have never thought to make one. Clever (DIY) young lady: very beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.
My goodness, your made a Masterpiece!!! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I will be making at least 1 of these. My entire home is being done in PEACOCK (by me). I have the traditional colors of a peacock, but I also have ones that are Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Green, Blue, Gold. Needless to say, this will be a focal point. My GF and her husband had a coronas made, they gave it to me & I am going to put it over a pass-through window and THIS GEM will roost atop of it! Thank you, thank you!!!!
Thank you for posting this, and doing such a great job explaining exactly how to make it! I really appreciate it. Obviously you have seen, and know exactly what a peacock looks like,..I have never actually seen a live one,..so details about the beak were very useful, the feet are quite lovely. I am attempting to make 2 birds for a wedding and hope I can it half as good as yours,..time will tell,..thanks!!
Thank you Veronica. I have been around a few peacocks at zoos and private properties. I also found it helpful to have several images of peacocks pulled up on my computer while I was making mine. May your peacocks turn out even better than mine. A few key tips: make sure the neck is long, make sure to cover the foam adequately, and relax - have fun.
u r really a pro in making peacock thanks for making the vdo this is the 1st vdo I have seen on ur channel awesome mam.........so cute and looks like a real peacock love u
Thank you for this how to video.. it’s very creative. I’m trying to use the same technique to build a pheonix bird with my daughter for her school. Any additional tips - please share.
I study the bird before attempting to make it so that I have a better understanding of the skeletal structure. Once you understand how it is formed inside and out then you are better able to construct something that would look more life-like. Choose quality, visually pleasing materials with which to work. Don't expect to make it perfect on your first attempt. Have fun.
I have not made any peacocks for sale. The materials I used I purchased from various sellers on ebay that I don't remember who they were. I got some of the items at Hobby Lobby. I have been tossing around the idea of making some peacocks for sale, but I just need to choose a good way to ship them.
I just bought them off ebay. I buy a lot from China, using patience to wait a month for delivery. I don't remember the specific company. Most things I buy from China are inexpensive with no shipping charges but still good quality.
About how much did it cost for the materials to make one of these? My daughter is in love with peacocks and she wants to make one instead of buying a stuffed animal one.
If you are referring to brand name, I remember getting most supplies from Hobby Lobby. I do not recall where I got the blue fabric from. The feathers I bought off Ebay from the seller that was most reasonable. Things like the wooden skewer sticks I purchased at Walmart. I hope this helps.
I apologize, I just saw your comment. My busy schedule does not have room for a lot of computer time. From the tip of the feathers on its head to the tip of its tail, the peacock is 45inches long. The widest part of its tail is 15inches. Its stomach is 6 inches wide.
ladyofsplendor your talent is creation, not administration, maybe that's why your having difficulty making the pdf?....lol.... Did you ever create the PDFs?
Taneisha Hughes I would like to share my peacock based on your video. Thanks for your detailed explanation. scontent-dft4-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/16174423_1568936326469391_3368854590601745369_n.jpg?oh=7d1ea43c4a5ed5b41896e4a541e045e5&oe=595C60D0

Its an humble request Pls stop showing this video because your work is so beautiful and easy that people get attracted of it and try to make it and so more peacock will die for feather.

Mam I had tried it to make 4 years ago but due to lack of the material I couldn't complete it
I m from India Maharashtra
I couldn't get brown feathers and blue colour features tried a lot
Next month ganpati bappa festival is coming and I want to do it very heartly pls help me and guide me
By any chance would you sell some of these already made?
I had thought about it, but figured it would be too expensive to package and ship. Many of those interested in viewing it are over seas.
Can you share where you got all the feathers?
Very good
About how much did it cost for the materials to make one of these? My daughter is in love with peacocks and she wants to make one instead of buying a stuffed animal one.
Oo that's good that your daughter loves peacock then don't purchase real feathers of peacock as they will be killed for feathers
wow so nice
EXCELLENT
Thank you
I will try but not balance on the floor
Because the feet are made of bendable materials, you should be able to bend and work with them to make them stable.
I want to make it but I don't have the stuff 😕
I don't have the feathers
mam what is the cost of it.... and can I just buy tht...
I never added up the cost of the materials. I am not sure where you could buy one like what I made. I do not have any for sale.
very nice
I'm doing this as a hair show hair prop I'm trying to blend the feathers & hair together
sounds creative and fascinating.
ladyofsplendor thank you any suggestions on keeping it placed on the head ? I was thinking velcro .
Maybe one of those narrow u-shaped headbands that slip snugly own on the head?
down on the head
ladyofsplendor Because it's gonna go on a Wig piece so I mean like attaching it to the wig what's best ?
from where I can buy these blue feathers
I bought them at Hobby Lobby. You might look on ebay if there are no Hobby Lobby stores near you.
I apologize for not responding earlier. I do not check youtube daily.
Please don't purchase real feathers of peacock as peacocks are killed to get feathers by killers
About much is everything have most of material but need feathers looks beautiful want to make for craft show
Hello mam...plzz Tell me ....all things name .....which you are use to make this peacock
If you are referring to brand name, I remember getting most supplies from Hobby Lobby. I do not recall where I got the blue fabric from. The feathers I bought off Ebay from the seller that was most reasonable. Things like the wooden skewer sticks I purchased at Walmart. I hope this helps.
9:24 halftime show
Arnie: oh come on that girl
Dinosaurs: yeah get her
They’re fighting
Arnie: finally she’s gone. Now back to you
it's looking real..

Anything light weight and stiff that would hold what you insert into it.

How many of each feathers are needed to complete this
around 40 peacock feathers, 40 royal blue feathers, and 25 - 35 of the wing feathers.
Thank you How much o the fabric is needed? How do you think adding lights to the tail will look?
I wish I could make it.
Pls don't usr real feathers of peacock

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will have to research this and verify. I would not want peacocks to be harmed in any way.
