Love the line and the look he gives when he says "its proved to be quite true, in a way". He is such a contradiction. Generally a shy person but at times, in brief moments, something ungraded, open, and flamboyant just jumps out proving the opposite.

I've listened to the smith or morris he says nineteen eighty three now i'm sixty two and I still listen to morrisey, 39 years of fabulous misery and I still see him in concert last summer.
Morrissey is highly intelligent, insightful and creative, and has written and performed some fabulous songs with the Smiths, and also as a solo artist. I love the music and am captivated by the interviews. And yet, afterwards I always feel rather empty and subdued, and need to watch something funny or get out of the house.
I love how Morissey is so nice and happy to see his elementary educators, but is so serious about how much he hated his secondary. You can see how The Headmaster Ritual came to be.
I was actually looking at some of my old school report cards and dairy entries and could tell that Primary School was mostly a very warm and friendly place that nurtured my talent. Secondary school was a cold, harsh, aggressive place where both teachers and students had animosity towards each other. That was where my grades started to drop. It's sad looking back on it as an adult and seeing that secondary school was the place and time that destroyed my innocence and my potential.
Great doc. Thanks for posting it @vivahate33. Morrissey is truly one of the greatest artists of all time. I was lucky enough to see The Smiths on their last tour. I feel blessed by that.

@evi All things in proportion I say lol
with the smiths and morrissey i found a place to be myself, it takes me a really long time but he help me to accept my loneliness
Love the line and the look he gives when he says "its proved to be quite true, in a way". He is such a contradiction. Generally a shy person but at times, in brief moments, something ungraded, open, and flamboyant just jumps out proving the opposite.
Great editing...that end fade away over the ruins and morrissey dissolving into that cement compound was really poetic..
He has such a beautiful accent.
Morrissey thanks for helping me to brush up my English.
Warm regards from Brazil.
I love walking aimlessly around the streets where I live. Not depressing at all - it's great!
"I'm a afraid, yes, I'm somewhat of a back bedroom casualty. I spent a great deal of time sitting in the bedroom writing furiously, and feeling that I was terribly important and that everything that I wrote would go down in the annals of history, and it's proved to be quite true, in a way."
Morrissey, there aren't words strong enough to describe the amazing impact you've had in my life.
This is such a beautiful video.
I've listened to the smith or morris he says nineteen eighty three now i'm sixty two and I still listen to morrisey, 39 years of fabulous misery and I still see him in concert last summer.
He is not alone. I feel and think the same about where I am from.
His autobiography is a great reading, so well written, so soulful.
Very well directed. Lots of feeling and info in just 5 minutes. And the last shot of Morrissey in the midst of the concrete madness is excellent.
My primary school years were heaven.
Love this man! Been a fan for 30+ years!
he was so incredibly handsome !
Great doc. Thanks for posting it @vivahate33. Morrissey is truly one of the greatest artists of all time. I was lucky enough to see The Smiths on their last tour. I feel blessed by that.
Absolutely wonderful, love you, Morrissey, even more after this!
i love and admire his honesty...
The one saving grace of being born in Manchester; Morrissey also grew up here..
