The problem is he thinks the number that is multiplying by is a physical object. That number just means how many times you are adding one thing to another.
Instead of adding Apples one by one. You can just say I have an Apple, some x amount of times.

Neil was a nerdy black kid from nyc in 70s and 80s who also wrestled. He has to be tough as freakin nails.
Neil did exactly what needs to be done when people spread false science and disinformation.

the "images" are'nt graphs, they were shapes representing of intersection for 4 or more spheres. Its what lead Terrance to design his "lynhpin" Drones.. Actually pretty cool. But ya, Neil was fair in his review, i did'nt think it was an attack.

He didn't design the drones. He paid people to design a drone that could make that shape fly. Took 12 propellers to make it fly horribly. I have a millennium falcon shaped drone that flies better with way less propellers. So it isn't a better flight system. It's the opposite.

Studied lots of aerospace engineering, specifically new plane design. You need to know a good bit about physics and fluid dynamics, which requires precise math. I wonder if a plane was built with TH "new math", would he actually try to fly on it. I am guessing no way.

i liked this podcast more before i found out how little hotdog knows about basic math. (and i'm only at 3:51 so sam has time to blow it too.)

When you call Pythagoras, Pythigriam you shouldn’t discuss math, but if you do you could use Wikipedia first and find out that the Pythagorean theorem, is a theorem in geometry that states that "in a right-angled triangle the square of the hypotenuse is equal [to the sum of] the squares of the two other sides" ( a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2}}). I believe this is seventh grade math. More difficult to follow is his ranting about straight lines and space curvature (btw caused bij the gravity he doesn’t believe exists) There he mixes physics and math into a word salad that makes no sense what so ever, which Neil De Grasse Tyson explains and rather polite, because most scientists would simply say: this man needs help from an expert in mental issues.

The concept of zero and the identity principle in mathematics-where zero serves as a crucial identity element in operations like addition-are foundational yet face challenges in a dynamic universe characterized by constant motion and quantum fluctuations. For instance, zero-point energy in quantum mechanics demonstrates that what we consider a vacuum, or "zero" state, isn't devoid of energy, challenging the notion of zero as representing absolute nothingness.
Similarly, the identity principle, which relies on constants such as zero and one to maintain stability in mathematical operations, may also require reevaluation. In environments like curved spacetime and at quantum scales, traditional operations and their identity elements as defined in classical mathematics might not adequately describe the physical phenomena.
As we encounter new physical and cosmological phenomena that defy classical laws-such as those related to dark energy, dark matter, and quantum entanglement-the need for our mathematical frameworks, including the concept of identity, to evolve becomes apparent. This evolution will better align our mathematical tools with the underlying, ever-shifting realities of the universe, providing deeper insights and more accurate models that reflect a universe in constant flux. This ongoing adaptation of mathematical principles, including the identity principle, is essential for advancing our understanding and enhancing our ability to describe and predict complex systems.

He’s not even using correct maths. If I put 1 banana in your hand 1 time you only end up with 1 banana. You also end up with me just debunking 1x1=2. He was also quoted as saying The entire “AR/VR world was built off of my first patent”
Yet doesn’t know that in 1968, Ivan Sutherland introduced the world to what is commonly considered the first head-mounted augmented reality display, plus his VR/AR patent was not novel and abandoned and ultimately rejected. He also says there are no straight lines in nature but yet pyrite, crystals, spider webs, tree trunks from from certain trees…etc all have naturally forming straight lines. He has a bunch of patents yes but they are either nonfunctioning designs (drawings) or toy patents. The reasons he had to patent his ideas as toys is because his ideas have no practical use in every day use. I give him credit for making and inventing toys because that more than I have done but I discredit him for using his toy patents as if they are real compelling inventions and deceiving the public. He’s also wrong for beating his estranged wife for which he was arrested for.
