Just to answer some of the questions posed in this song, especially in regard to the state of man in death,
i) The Word of God teaches us that a man was formed from the dust of the ground, and God breathed the breath of life in His Nostrils and man became a living being. If it an equation it may have been written as (Dust + Breath of Life) = (Living Being) (Genesis 2:7).
ii) Then we look at what happens when a a man dies. We can come back to the math we used in point (i) (Dust - Breath of Life) = (Dead person/Corpse) Saw death is actual the reverse of what happened at creation, Ecclesiastes 12:7 says "“Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it”
a) What is important to note though is that the spirit cannot live without the body, nor the body without the spirit (breath of life/power of life) The body turns to dust again, and the spirit goes back to God, who gave it. The spirit of every person who dies-whether saved or unsaved-returns to God at death.
iii) When this happens the bible declares that when a man dies He knows nothing, His love, His hatred, his knowledge, wisdom etc, dies with him, He has no portion whatsoever of what happens under the Sun. So this address issues like akafa aine ronda anopora here, kana ainwa doro kana avekudenga munomupa here as the song is asking. Death is a state of unconsciousness, there are no memories, no dreams, no life in the grave. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10) says "The living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun. … There is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going” .
“The dead do not praise the Lord” (Psalm 115:17).
Briefly this tells us in death there is nothing we can do, the chance we have is now when we can still choose to read these UA-cam comments, to do what we can because if we are dead, there is nothing we can do. Thats why it is written in Ecclesiates 9:10 "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going."
iv) However this is not the end, we have hope of the resurrection, some to everlasting life and others to eternal damnation, the choice for where we will go is subject to our daily choices today and now, every morning we wake up alive, it is our second chance.
Daniel 12:2 says "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."
Matthew 25:46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
John 5:29 "and come out--those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned."
And Jesus promised everyone that believes in Him that, " I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" John 11:25
When shall they live, you may ask, the answer is found in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 "13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
