I will be converting a 6 x 12 cargo trailer to haul my ATV, and sleep in. I am looking for space saving conversion ideas, and really like your bed setup. Great job!
good job on the build eh, thank you for taking the time to show all of us how you did it. I just picked up a 5x10 with a ramp door and have already been thinking of doing a conversion very similar to this which is what brought me here. I do not want to lose the function of the trailer and it's hauling capabilities yet want to be able to use it for solo camping when needed. Thanks again! :{P
I have a 5x10 trailer that I am using to haul quad and very much like your design...simple...get er done kinda style. Thank you for posting this video. You gave me some great idea's on what I can do with my trailer. I would like to see how you attached the front plywood sheet for the cabinets to the sides of the trailer. Did you use metal L brackets on everything in the front? What thickness of plywood did you use. I would like to keep mine as light as possible but not too weak for strength. Once again, great video...just wish you would have shown a little more on how you put things together. Cheers!
Yes, I used small L brackets to secure the bottom of my front plywood (face of the cabinet). The Plywood is 1/2” spruce. On the inside of the front of the cabinet, just cut roughly a piece of 1/2” plywood x 2 1/2” wide by the height of the front piece, screw it to the outside wall of the trailer and use finishing screws to secure the front piece of plywood to this 2 1/2” piece. You can do this around the entire body of the cabinet, L brackets at the bottom and pieces of 2 1/2” plywood around the inside of the cabinet. I hope I’ve answered your question, please let me know if you have any other questions.
Love the table idea...and the split bed! Great job!

Is this a fibreglass trailer? Wondering how to put a window in?
Can you share info on the battery bank?
Need a shower toilet area
You can’t even stand up in that cereal box.
Great idea but really bad design.
