They look great and I think I will have to buy at least the 25mm - I film home theater tours so need something with a low T stop due to the rooms being so tight and dark - I dont think the 14mm is wide open enough :( ... Great, well made informative video! Thank you.
i ordered the set , it is really not that affordable if planning to buy the set most likey i could buy an fx6 or a komodo with that price . but still compared to other higher end cine primes , the quality of nisi primes are remarkable
7artsians has a manual focus 12mm lens. It's optically really good. For crop sensors tho. It costs between 140-160 bucks. There's 2 versions, buy the newer one.
I was looking into both, and from what I can tell NiSi has a bit more character compared to irix, even though they are both clean lenses. I went with the nisi 35mm and will probably pick up the rest of the set in the future
For Indie filmmakers this might be a dream come true, i love wide angle lenses. So the fact they can own it for way cheaper is awesome. I’m thinking of getting the 14mm G lens.
I just bought these. Very sharp and not much character - honestly no better than any of the Sony G-masters / Primes I have (photo lenses). My opinion is if people already have those, there's no need for these. Keep your autofocus and save your money for some Cooke Sp3's.
What do you think of these lenses? 🤔
One day, when it's in my budget, I will check out these cinema lenses! Untill then I'm staying frugal with a zoom lens haha.
How do these compare to the dzo primes. I do like that nisi offers drop in filters, but I also like the dual lens mount option on dzo.
Hmmm, unfortunately I haven't shot with the DZO Primes yet, but I know there's several videos out there comparing them!

Tell me how it died on me after like 2 weeks of use though ☹
