This is masterfully read and it stands as my best rendition of this story. But why - WHY - do they insist on injecting loud music into the most dramatic parts? It detracts from the solemnity of the moment and nearly drowns out the narrative. I'm grateful they do it only on occasion and not throughout as other readers do.

ive only ever seen George Romero's adaption of this story in Two Evil Eyes (1991). First time hearing the original story.
This is quite good! Although the music is a bit loud in comparison to the narration.
