I wish they had unique ssj transformations for more than 3 characters, theres definitely enough to pull from the anime
Yeah same, I do not like the stock animation for the transformations especially when characters have plenty of reference material to work with
Same, it might be subject to change later. Though tbf, I do really appreciate that they pull supers from pretty much any scene you can imagine. Some of these super saiyan Gohan clips I don't even recognize tbh lol 😅
But yes for his SSJ transformation they could obviously pull from his first transformation training with Goku, as he's struggling to maintain it due to his anger.

Same. Like why should just the villains and DBS Goku and Vegeta have unique transformations? I was thinking all the transformations would be unique like we would see Goku's hair actually growing when turning SSJ3

I think the SZ Father-Son Kamehameha is just missing the part where Gohan thrusts into the blast when he uses full power, like in the anime and in BT3.
5:13 the only thing I'd change about Gohan's ultimate here is this weird angle, but everything else is perfect imo

I like how Gohan's forms scale with how much he fought in them.
Base: Never fought.
SS1: Got beat up.
SS2: Fought a guy, one shot a bunch of kids.

I appreciated this. It was very helpful. I could tell that Teen Gohan was the most popular character in the game - that’s why they didn’t release him in the early demos. The patience is seen in the work. I rated him 7. The patience is appreciated and the thoughtfulness to his skill set was there. The sound effects of this Gohan is by far my favorite however. Superb. The way the voice actor says kamehameha as normal form Gohan is so moving. The emotional impact is surreal. The Super Saiyan 2 is decent. And I appreciate that SSJ has a different ultimate attack other than just kamehameha. This gives him more variety and demonstrates his versatility of skill sets. And it was a throw back to a move reminiscent of his assault on second form Frieza in my opinion. Yes, I wanted the Father - Son Kamehameha to be slower! Be patient with this scene. For me, that makes or breaks every Dragon ball Z game as Gohan Super Saiyan 2 is one of my favorite characters. They were wise to be patient about designing this character. Because of that, I give Sparking Zero’s Teen Gohan a 7 out of 10. For me, that means the overall game - OVERALL, I SAY! - made the cut. No matter what happens after this, the Sparking Zero franchise made the cut of my DBZ game recommendations. What a fatal remark, I know. That’s how important the Teen Gohan design means to me.
He can transcend to 8 if the story mode relies on its strong artist design and detailed animation. They better show the ground obliterated underneath Super Saiyan 2 Gohan does Father-Son Kamehameha. Show the “epic-ness” of the scene. Be slow, don’t rush. I’m comparing this to Kakarot’s version of the scene. Sparking Zero has a chance to compete for most emotional scene and impactful graphics if they just take it slow and detailed!

Yes, you did Gohan! Fantastic video, I have no idea how you make these so fast and even include like 5-6 different reference points sometimes, and the editing is top tier. This was my main in BT3, so I really appreciate this - they definitely cooked with him, he looks fire. Loved your point about them making us use the Base versions for once, finally they aren't all stuck with "Full Power Energy Wave" and shit.
They care about gohan but not kid ss trunks and gotenks casue they have similar moves
Gotenks rush attack has a diff combo and i prefer victory canon over another super kamehameha for base gotenks ngl

@@jungs13 yeah ngl his full power energy wave was so unique after seeing it 3 times i didnt notice thats what it was. It's a move he does in the anime with no name so they just called it that but id still prefer it over kamehameha thats just me tho
