Very interesting to have a tour around Qatar's second largest city! It all looks so clean, and quiet at this time of the year. The souk looks amazing - so much to see and do. Thank you for showing us more of this fascinating yet little known country.
I really hope England get to play here. The inside of the stadium, especially when the sun is out looks so awesome. After the game ends, I'd want see more of Al Wakrah. Aside from the knockout rounds (6pm Qateri time), every game being played at this venue is at 1pm local time
Thanks for sharing this. I didn’t realise the timings of the matches. Probably a good thing the matches are early in the day. It will give people plenty of time to visit other attractions in Qatar. The weather will be very nice when the competition is taking place. You might be interested in our next video coming out later this week. We visited every stadium that will host matches for the World Cup and share a bit of info and updates on their progress.
@@TheWorldnUs I'll keep an eye out. The kick off times in the group stage 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm. Al Janoub and Al Rayyan Stadium were assigned to be the one o'clock games with the exception of the opening game of the tournament. The other times have specific stadiums per day

This is nice but qatar seems very late on building it's cities. If this is the second largest city what about the third or fourth largest ones... Qatar is just an empty desert place and I dont think the 2022 world cup would be great since there's not many stuff to do.
Al Wakrah is being encroached by Doha. They are right next to each other and feel like they are part of the same city. Qatar is a very small country, but there will be plenty of things to do for someone visiting during the World Cup.

Hi! My understanding is that only foreigners with work visas and residence permits can come in. Unfortunately still closed to tourists due to covid.
