Marsch was at red bull salzburg did well. red bull leipzig then Leeds. Leeds fans did seem to like Marsch later in the season. Many US fans don't like Greg. I think for good reason. I really like the way Mr. Marsch is speaking; intelligent, team building sentences; and awareness this a long-term project; and he's not awed by any player from a European team on this Canadian squad. Everybody has a role and may see time on the field. I personally do like the higher attack and pressure mode Canada has shown, especially against Argentina. Reminds me of the scare they gave Belgium. To me, as a hockey player, it's good forechecking. .....Will be great to see more of Shaffelburg and Johnston. And let's not forget Crépeau in net. Very strong!

Kone until 2020 was playing in a Quebec league which is well below MLS standard. Bombito in 2022 was playing Junior College in New Hampshire. Just.a few examples. Im also sure you're aware our manager was hired 7 weeks ago, the group had a 9 day camp together I believe before flying to Europe to play friendlies before this tournament. Ya I'd prefer see them score more to build optimism but taking into account all these factors, we should be way ahead of whoever you support by 2026

my take on Oso v Kone is that Oso has a ton more experience playing in and with South Americans, he would handle that mentality and style of play better at this stage than Kone. And IMO that's exactly what happened, Oso is sticky with the ball and wiggles out of messy situations, Kone's game is still focused on more elegant flow, which is precisely not what Canada were up against.
