@The Button There is no reason to be so negative about it. This is a clear and concise showcase of what everyone who calls themselves a musician should be about to do. To belittle it and call it 'nothing at all' is nonsense.
i know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I love any tips you can give me
Oz Noy's "Unlocking the Neck" video is great! It's like Mick Goodrick's approach on steroids. Whereas Mick says "hey you can play vertically and horizontally on the neck, go explore on your own", Oz says, "I did explore it, and these are the best exercises I discovered"
it has always been this way, in all things. Sooner you realise that being popular isn't a compliment but a recognition of mediocrity, then you can start to find more truly great musicians. I know great guitarists who went their whole lives idolising Slash and I'm like... he's just 1 of 10000 to me, and he wouldn't even make my top 100.
Oz is such a cool player!
Ridiculous that this has been up for 90 days and has so few hits. An amazing display of musicianship.
Because it doesn’t contain the words ‘Shred’ and ‘destroy’
Interesting answer but unfortunately it's what happens nowadays, with musically uneducated people. Shred, Shred and Shred again.

@Cristiano Ronnie Instablaster ;)
A good example of how brilliance is the result of understanding simplicity.

It’s the most fun that Jimmy’s ever had.
😂
Love the rhythmic approach he took walking in 3rds. That’s a vibe. Reminds me of Steve Kimock
Amazing! Taking the basics and making it musical…
Bla bla bla pfffffff
Thank you for doing this
Damn, this guy is a monster player, so effortless too...
The building blocks of music coupled with creative movement throughout the scales.

Straightforward truth!
Genius
Monster player

Dang it, I kinda knew that was the answer but I wasn't ready to hear it. Now I know where to try to go.
Haha. I felt the same way...
I actually asked the question!
There's so many great guitarist out on the fringe that kinda get neglected by the masses because they're not shredders or popular

I don't think Oz Noy feels neglected, he's a working man.
Oz can totally shred though
Wayne Krantz

Great lesson! Thank you! btw: I need that Drummer-Shirt xD
I got the shirt from NAMM show but if I find it, I’ll come back here!
Super extra jumbo frets! ☺️
Very Low Action strat with a nice rattle.
You can't know the guitar fretboard by 100%. There are too many possibilities to practice in a lifetime :)
Where is the video ?
Who built this guitar? Cs or mb?
Wow!!!
Doesn’t look at the fretboard once 😮
Help! Faz uma legendado em português ou espanhol para ajudar a gente (kkkk). Thanks ;)
Yeesss! Make music!!!! Not exercises!!
That guitar seen a lot of touring? No, he probably wore it out just from practicing!
more or less noodling around
