The closer it got to fight time, the more confident i was that Bud was going to school him. Prior too that, i gave Spence a chance but something in my gut was telling me it wouldn't be close. I just couldn't see how Spence could win. He wasnt going to be able to handle Bud in space and he wasn't going to be able to keep him on the ropes because of Crawford's superior footwork. I didn't think it was going to be as bad as it was though. He was damaging him with the jab.

I called this fight EXACTLY how it happened. I told people it "wouldn't be close" and that Bud would "dominate and stop him before the 11th." The reality is, and this goes for people who actually KNOW boxing, is that they were NEVER equals. It was another "Mayweather vs Pacquaio" bout. People THOUGHT two men were equals, but one had a FAR more superior skillset.
I LIVE in Dallas and been telling people Spence would take a beating for years now if he fought Crawford. I respect him for getting in there and giving it everything he had, but Crawford is just too much.
Spence should also avoid the rematch. What makes what Crawford did tonight so scary, is that he did that to him with only ONE look. I've seen him show 5 different looks in a single fight before. He has too many tools at his disposal and a rematch will be worse. Crawford will come in with even MORE confidence and be even MORE aggressive.

Early on that lag frustrated & confused Spense, stealing his confidence. Later with no free fatty acids to burn & that frustration & confusion on top of his exhaustion, it was just too much. These super hero type bodies are a curse in boxing. The fans go Wooa, looka Dat, but this ain't arm wrestling, it's boxing. Would addressing that & training limber make a big difference; absolutely. Would it have changed the result; probably not. Budd is just an all around better boxer, strategist & improviser. Would it have been a closer fight absolutely.

My guy loss… he will need a new game plan at 154. Bud counter punched him to death . Soon as EJ came with a right … Here some Bud with a right and EJ was dropping his left hand while punching . I feel like he could have ended the fight earlier but he wanted to drag it out and didn’t want it hurt him . I know some of the short combos he could have easily extended for a knock out but he would just let EJ come back in to counter punch a short combo again . I knew Bud was a bad man but I didn’t think he would do it like this … Hopefully, 154 will be different but remember Bud can switch up his stance too . EJ has to work on defense (foot work with head movement) and counter punching too…. He might have to let bud pursue him in the next fight to make it interesting . Even Bud was hitting him in close distance too. I still represent my guy…. I hoping for a more competitive December fight . Some people were saying a trilogy fight but I don’t know about all that .
