A couple of weeks for me too, but only for Nintendogs+Cats. I still revisit my N+C game every once in a while, but not the original one anymore. Been spoiled by the graphics of new games that it's harder to enjoy older ones.
nintendogs holds a special place in my heart as it was one of those things that brought me safety at home while my parents were doing their dysfunctional family thing downstairs.

I hecking loved Nintendogs. I remember the 2nd dog I got was a Labrador and I named her after my real childhood dog. When my dog inevitably passed away, I'd occasionally reopen Nintendogs and play with her and pat her and it was like I got to spend a little extra time with my real dog again. Then my Nintendo and all the games got stolen. I kid you not, as a hecking adult, I cried. It felt like I had lost my dog all over again.

I actually found this video while playing Nintendogs + cats so found that quite funny. Nintendogs is such a cozy game and it’s honestly one I continue to pick up every few months and play continuously. I love the dogs, the cats, and just the overall vibe ❤

Baths were both a blessing and a curse in this game. The beginning part would be relaxing but when it came to rinsing it was a NIGHTMARE.
The shower head icon blinks when it's done (I think?) and i remember rinsing my poor virtual dog for AGES because the game kept saying THERE IS STILL SOAP LEFT- WHERE?! WHERE GAME?!
I had this problem every time I washed them so I decided to put more soap onto my dog to see if rinsing that off would rinse of whatever was left on my dog before 😅

I wasn’t born in the time before it died but when I was young at my house we had both an old Nintendo and I forgot what it’s called but what Illy has. We dusted it off and my mom restarted the game for me. It was old and there was newer Wi-Fi that there were glitches in the game.
For example: when I was rinsing my husky and heard the sound it made for scrubbing.
if you used the right shampoo for your dogs hair the shower icon always blinked at then im pretty sure but then if you used the wrong one it refused to blink and you didn't get the perfectly clean dog at the end lol

I remember my sister would let me watch her play Nintendogs when I was little and she LOVED bath time, but I thought it was torture because ASMR is essentially ear torture for me ( because I have sensory issues ) so she would blast the bath time sounds whenever she played it ( she was and still is a menace lol )

I was so obsessed with this game, I went on Holiday to Turkey with my best friend and we played it all holiday; like to the point we made a rp story about our dogs and how they had a special pack, all the dogs wore the Japanese collar for one pack and spiked for another for the e d g e
This makes me want to dig out my DS and check on my pups. It's been at least 5 years since I opened that game. I have the Labrador version, since Labs are my favorite breed of dog. I have a yellow lab, a shiba inu, and I don't remember if I have a third. Nor do I remember my dog's names off-hand.

This is literally the smoothest thing I’ve seen all day…. 🤯
Nintendogs was literally the first game I ever got when I got my DS as a kid. Let me tell you, I NEVER did obedience trials cause... that was so hard to even get them up to a certain high ranking. Disc competition was the same but I did agility trials more as I can make my dogs go around those obstacles like WHOOOSH! 1st place every single time baby! I'm practically rich in the game and have more than 3 dogs (ok, some are at the spa chilling while my three bread winners are at home). I also played it enough to where I have all dogs unlocked so... there's that. I've only been on bark mode maybe once or twice but the fun was letting other people play with my dogs while I was busy doing stuff and they could customize the accessories on them however they wanted so it was a cute game and I still love it, even though I was teased for playing it and after that... they turned me... *bubbles voice from PPG* Hardcore... *pulls out Mario Kart games*

Nintendogs was my JAM. I played it constantly. My first dog was a chihuahua named Sarah and she was amazing at the competitions, like a legit pro. But then I lost my ds for like a month and she ran away. I legit cried for so long afterwards. Got two more dogs to fill the void 🙂
Nah because the brain image with the warrior cats section is so me but BIGGER- warrior cats really brought back my drawings hobbies and what I’m good at especially someone like me with ADHD and ADD. Warrior cats really really did help me.. 3:28

I love Genshin Impact!!! I rolled earlier this month and got the Raiden Shogun, who I will protect with my life if I have to! I also loved Nintendogs as a kid, but I didn't understand a lot of the things I was supposed to do so I just played with the puppy. It was interesting to hear about your experiences though and, honestly, would love to hear about your experiences and thoughts of playing Genshin Impact.

I have the Dachshund version of the original game, and I see where the nostalgia comes from. Sure, the puppies are stubborn at learning their name (Taion took 10 tries to learn his name cuz he barely even listened), but when the pup does learn their name, it gets easier. Luckily Eunie, my Beagle, learned a bit easier than Taion, so there's that. Also I saw that Monado picture frame, you cannot hide that from me lol
