ME and Vista were notorious for getting viruses which is why people hated them so much

@@M4A1BestGirl they didn’t get viruses, automatically… they just had stability issues. ME was unstable, considering it was the last Windows OS to use the MS-DOS based 9x kernel, which by then, was so obosolete (them removing access to MS DOS didn’t made things better). Vista was only unstable because people faced compatibility issues on certain hardware due to its high requirements back then, but Vista ran decently on newer hardware or high end hardware. However, after the second service pack, Vista ram MUCH smoother. Vista also improved on security, such as the introduction to User Account Control.
