Picked up a Lenovo p11 plus for half the price and couldn’t be happier. I know it won’t get the updates like Apple but the screen viewing experience is so much better.
The screen fit well and the included double sided tape helped for the home button bracket. I added a couple drops of super glue to the home button bracket just in case. This was my first time attempting to repair a broken iPad screen and I was successful
Was a little tricky getting the old screen off but it was pretty well shattered. It would be helpful if the tool kit included a suction cup to pull with. Works well right after install time will tell about longevity. For now I’m satisfied.
still having the same exact issue. The company was not very helpful other than telling us to check their troubleshooting guides (which, as I said, did NOT help) so we went ahead and ordered a way cheaper screen, and it works perfectly.
verall product was very good. It included all necessary parts to change out my broken iPad screen. The only issue I had was the included screwdriver was low quality and did not fit the screws well. I ended up slightly stripping one screw trying to use it before giving up and hunting down a real jeweler’s screwdriver to remove the screws.
Local mom-and-pop computer repair stores (yes, they still exist) are often a good place to try for a third-party repair. Just check for reviews and get a solid quote up-front.
Because I really like this, as it works perfectly for my work and my budget as well. So, if what you said is true, then will the new ipad with the better processor, will be in the same price range, like $350 ish?
The extra gigabyte of RAM compared to the previous model really shows and helps out performance a lot, especially with web sites. It also allows 3 apps to be on the screen and interactive at the same time. Overall a very nice device.
We bought this as a replacement for our sons cracked iPad screen. We’ve have experience in replacing screens in the past, so we were familiar and comfortable to do it ourselves. First time replacing, and the screen wasn’t working on one side

Unlaminated means there’s a layer above the display.
You’ll notice the difference when using a stylus or apple pen-there’s a noticeable space between the pen and display (which can be off-putting for some)
Easy installation after carefully removing all broken glass pieces from original screen and cleaning shell, it worked really good and looked wonderful. 2 days later: screen lagging, touch response is annoying and slow, adhesion is not holding. Disappointed after what I thought was a success this screen is just not working for me.
For the button cable does that face up or down? It’s the last really tiny cable you connected with tweezers.
i will get this one cause it got big upgrades (storage, selfie camera , a13)
and i will switch again when the standard version gonna get the M1
or 1-2 years after that. This ipad got much love from the consumers.

Im using 9th gen Ipad as replacement laptop since its more portable with smart keyboard with trackpad. Its very light and very portable.
24 Hours in and still enjoying it... 32G is small though a few netflix, apple and amazonprime shows, and a lot of work apps and I am left with 11G. have not even linked and downloaded the picture gallery from the other apps. I like to customize the tablet and calibrate it my specific needs, so will be playing around with it for a few days
But as it does not have earpiece so calls are attended on loudspeaker mode,which means everyone around you gets to hear it.so it might seem annoying in public places.
So use earphones while calling
Brother If your are playing to buy for another 3 years you should definitely wait for iPad 8th gen as it is going to launch in September and probably have the a11 chip same in iPhone X.
Take your time and be extra careful with the home button cable. Use a hairdryer or heat gun on low blowing on the cable as you carefully peel it from the old glass.
Yes, it’s very good for gaming especially I play action shooter games like Codm and it runs smoothly most of the time, u may find some glitches which may be part of the software but overall very good tablet highly recommended

I have got a question. I am considering apple ipad 10.2 (128) and Samsung s6 lite. Apart from the cost what other factors should I consider. Given that I expect the tab to last as long as possible and I'm planning on going for masters in the next 1 year or so.
It’s neither low resolution nor dull. It‘s not the most advanced but perfectly fine and has better Color calibration than most monitors and TVs because Apple calibrates each display.

Amazing tab , fast , clear picture and screen , very bright colors and with 3GB of ram and A10 processor good performance too

In hindsight, this was not a bad upgrade in my opinion. When it came out I was a bit disappointed that it still used the A10. But the extra gigabyte of RAM probably goes a long way in Long term use, maybe even more than keeping the 2GB and giving it
There I was directed to three guide videos. I chose the first one listed. Big mistake. From almost start, my experience differed from the video. My screen didn’t simply lift off in one piece, it cracked into small pieces along the edges and in each corner as I tried the insert the wedge.
It’s good since the screen isn’t the size of a tv and makes it look like something above 1080 but below 4k
ou can find glass replacement kits and dense DIY tutorials online that show you how to fix your iPad screen yourself, but trust us, you don't want to do this yourself.
I regret it too…I bought this a month before the 8th gen launched, as we were in dire need of another screen, but this is still pretty good. I can play pubg mobile at max settings for an hour before heating. Classic Matchss have more heating in higher graphics than arena
Having said that it's better today to wait for new iPad or purchase 6GB RAM android tablet (these consume more memory).
The unlamitated display doesnt bother me at all color production is still best since apple adjusted their displays pretty well. Best buy for the buck
Guys I just got my iPad and I noticed that when I watch 60 fps video on UA-cam every 5-10 seconds it lags or frame drop are you guys experiencing this too?.
The 8th gen iPad is rumoured to be 10.8", no finger print button, face unlock, 64GB base storage, & A12 chip! We will find out soon in only a few days. Fingers crossed!
Plus, with the DIY approach, you will void your warranty and have nobody but yourself to blame if something goes wrong. Replacing the screen will cost you as much, if not more, than simply taking your device to the Apple store.
If you really want to give it a shot, keep in mind that a touchscreen replacement kit, including the LCD screen and digitizer, can cost between $30 and $400, depending on which components you need and the model. We haven't tested these replacement parts ourselves and do not recommend it.
Face unlock is not advisable this time. Better have the finger print sensor now a days since most of us are wearing face mask plus face shield. I choose having an iPhone / iPad finger print sensor.

Long support on 3GB RAM model doesn't matter. Today it works fine, but after 3 years this iPad will be useless. You need a 4GB iPad variant which doesn't exist (maybe iPad 2022 will have that RAM).

But if you want a tablet for entertaining purpose, iPad for sure. It has better screen, better performance and etc. Their software are somewhat better too.
I bought this but quickly returned it. The way UA-cam, Netflix, and my IPTV service is displayed was just awful.
It was so narrow and made viewing uncomfortable.

If you don't have AppleCare, it will cost about the price of a new (refurbished) iPad to fix your screen. Apple charges anywhere from $199 to $599 (plus tax) to fix a broken iPad screen

There are other places to get your iPad screen fixed, but choosing a non-Apple repair shop will void your warranty. And yes, Apple can tell if a non-Apple employee has opened up your iPad.
Since the third-party company will be voiding your Apple warranty, you want to make sure they'll stand behind their work and parts -- the last thing you want is a crack-free but defective screen.

Apple iPads aren't cheap, and neither is getting one's screen repaired. Apple's one-year warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, so unless your iPad's screen has a hairline crack due to defective glass

Its just a sound tho, 99% of people wont even care. Sure apple pencil look slightly better if you view it at a very specific angle, but who really cares other than pro users? And if you are a pro user, you certainly are not considering this ipad.
