Petrol is costlier in India than Pakistan b'coz Excise Duty and Sales Tax is levied on the Price of Petrol by the Centre and States. The Sales Tax and surcharges vary from state to States.
In Pakistan, I don't know if any Custom Duty or Sale Tax is charged on Petrol & Diesel, since I heard that the Govt. Of Pak wants to give subsidies to its people on Petrol & Diesel, but the IMF is denying it.

And at that time no other cities and towns have the conception of Metro, all other cities have their metro well after the city of joy Kolkata ( the then Calcutta) and maximum part of it is under ground like the London Tube rail . Now Kolkata metro wings have sprayed in many busiest route …….
