Although he's a beast, he's still not the greatest striker the league has ever seen. The likes of Shearer, Kane, Sheringham are still above him at the moment. The reason? All the former strikers played in decent teams like Newcastle, Spurs, etc. And still have around 160+ goals in the league which is remarkable.
The biggest for me is Kane. His contributions to Spurs are ridiculously good. He's stepped up in every single season he's played for them. He's been scoring for some Spurs squads that have been miserable in some seasons. The fact that he also provides in build up is a cherry on top.
Kane is the greatest Premier League striker. Haaland, if he continues to score at this rate though, and can bring in more dimensions to his play will surely make him the greatest.
