- Rooting by armadillos can often cause a significant amount of damage to lawns, vegetable gardens, and flower beds. Live traps are frequently the best method for capturing and removing armadillos. Because bait is not highly effective for luring armadillos into a trap, it is best to use sideboards extending out from the trap entrance to funnel wandering armadillos into the trap. This video will provide you with instructions on setting a live trap for armadillos.
This is the best help I've found to help me get rid of a pain in the butt pest . I'm not catching to relocate , I'm catching to kill . I've had enough of one on my porch at night eating my plants . Thank you for your help .

Drift fencing without bait it a super way to trap armadillos. Using double door traps works best as they will catch animals coming from either direction. The traps pictured may not hold up for long as armadillos are tough on cage traps. Comstock 9x11x24 double door traps with powered doors and wire triggers will last indefinitely while catching from two directions.
Watering the flowers and grass attracts worms and then the armadillos come for them. Thanks for this info.

I herd they carry leprosy and are illegal to handle is it true? I have one of these or various size possum come every night for months now and my dog runs out to chase them.... inside my fenced back yard
1 out of 15 carry leprosy and the odds increase depending on the area. You should not handle an armadillo but you can kill as many as you desire without fearing the law.
There never has been a reported case of leprosy from an armadillo
@@MrStandana really? I just saw a documentary of two reported cases of leprosy from armadillos in Texas from catching them and eating them.
Florida has up to 12 cases of leprosy every year from armadillos. It is rare but up to 20% of armadillos are carriers.

doubt it, judges actually follow the facts. spend a full year learning about wildlife relocation and come back here and apologize or state a better point than "I don't care"
