  • This is a review of the Primeweld MIG 180 welder (find the product link below). This is a machine that was bought with my own money and in no way am I affiliated with Primeweld or sponsored by them. This is my honest review of this welder including any negatives that I have about it. I have been using this machine regularly for just over a year with approx. 70-80 lbs of wire run through it. Please ask any questions that you have about the machine, and I will give you honest answers to the best of my abilities. Share your own experience if you own your one. Thank you.

Three times I misspoke in the video at :
2:28- The MIG gun length is 10 foot.
10:00-On the specs the MIG at 220 volts is 30-180 Amps.
10:11-The duty cycle is 30% at 180 Amps.

My buddy recommended Primeweld to me and couldn’t be happier! I have the mig 180 and also have their cut60 plasma cutter and both have been great! I had the Titanium 170 and that is comparable but the downside is you only get a 90 day warranty. Great video and good review

The titanium 170 also has a $120 restocking fee if you have to return it.

Just got one a day or two ago and have only had a chance to make a couple weird with it, does yours skip numbers when trying to put wire speed on a certain speed? Mine goes by like 4s when trying to adjust it nothing like the Miller or even titanium I have I’ve gotta message prime weld and see what they say just trying to see if anybody ride has same problem.

I haven't noticed that. Mine seems to dial in right at what I want.

Well they were going to send a new one then he said that it’s normal for it to go in increments of 4 but haven’t got a response to why it barely welds 1/16 maxed out, my luck everybody loves there’s but I get a Chinese dud that they act like they don’t want to fix the problem 🤣
