Eddie and Cousin Doug, Great show again. Can't believe my Washington Capitals are doing this great so far. I was expecting them to be a middle of the standing team... not a team leading the league in the standings. My girlfriend team on the other hand has been very disappointing.... I was expecting a big push from the Buffalo Sabres this year, still hoping they can make a run for a wildcard slot at the end of the year.
Great show Doug & Eddie! Glad to see the Puck Podcast train hit UA-cam. I’ll be listening to the 1st period here before moving over to my usual listening spot on Spotify from now on. I think the formatting decisions lately have been smart. Speaking of trains - I’m not that excited to see a player like Trouba get added into the mix in the Pacific as a King’s fan, but I’m glad Doug sees it as a positive for his Ducks. I’m looking forward to seeing you two hit your 1000 subs!
I know it's petty, but I do not want to see the Red Wings in the #1 spot in terms of playoff drought. So thank you Buffalo for continuing to just not be very good. Blowing that lead to Colorado and then also blowing a 5-3 lead against Detroit is chef's kiss.
