Hello Rick, enjoy your tech Tuesdays. I just bought a used 2023 C8 Corvette with 3800 miles, from a dealer in Boulder Colorado I live 250 miles away so I drove the car home and on the way home I felt the car wasn’t shifting quite right, but with all the excitement of having a new car, It didn’t concern me at the time, but in the morning when I got up and decided to go for a ride in the car, I backed the car out of the garage and when I went to take off it felt like emergency brake was on,so I shut the car off and restarted it, and it was fine until the following day, I stopped at a friends house and went to takeoff in the car did the same thing, so I shut it off and was able to takeoff, the dealer I bought the car from told me it was a done deal because I signed the papers as is, so I took it to the nearest Chevy dealer, and they had a technician come down from Chevy and look at it. He said it needed a transmission so they supposedly ordered one but Chevy denied it. I’m having a hard time getting a hold of the service manager to find out why they canceled it the cars been at the dealership for a month and a half and I’ve only put about 400 miles on the car myself, the dealership isn’t telling me anything so I’m not sure what to do. This dealership is 100 miles from my home. The next closest dealership is 250 miles away. Do you have any ideas of what I should try to do, I would like to drive my car, any kind of suggestions would be helpful, I did call you and you told me to tell the dealership to reprogram the TCM, I’m not sure if they did because it’s so hard to talk to them again if you have any suggestions i’d be grateful.
I am glad you and Chuck had time to put a show together. It was full of great information. The beautiful rides segment was awesome as usual. I missed the color of Timber's car. LOL!

Rick, Chuck, thanks again for another outstanding Tech Tuesday, I have a 2021 HTC with 13,000 miles and I was not aware that I need to replace the transmission fluid at 3 years, thank you so much for educating people such as myself on things that we may inadvertently miss.

Do you find a lot of customers selecting the "Dealer Installed - *Performance Exhaust Upgrade* (Part Numbers: _19433780, 19433781 & 19433782)"_ via GM's partnership with Borla? The only variance being the exhaust tip colors in polished, black and carbon fiber. Has anyone or perhaps you [Chuck & Rick] experienced any CEL's as a result of this optional upgrade _from the factory?_ I know there are several aftermarket exhausts for the C8 which tend to throw a Check Engine Light on a whim. Some experience this dilemma while others never have a problem. What are the advantages of the Performance Exhaust from the factory versus outside companies? Appreciate the clarification gents. Stay classy my friends.
