- This is a diy Mrs Claus gnome tutorial/Mrs Claus accent piece/Christmas Gnome. If you made my no sew santa gnome, you will want to make Mrs. Claus to go with him. They make a very cute pair of gnomes. This is a pretty simple cone gnome that you can make in about an hour. This is a Christmas gnome diy with free gnome pattern. She is so precious! Pattie, you do such a phenomenal job teaching us ll how to make beautiful gnomes for our homes. ❤❤❤ I personally just started my own gnome craze a year ago. This year I'm making this set for my shelves behind our couch. I've made some of the smaller sock gnomes and I just adore them!!! There are a few that hang out all year. This year, I'm making all the seasonal gnomes. 😊😊😊 Everyone who sees my little gnomes, falls in love and always wants to take them home!

Hi Patti I just saw you make Mrs. Claus to go with Santa , & they are adorable!! I made them with wooden spools and even made Mrs. Claus a very tiny eyelet apron, about 1/2 " with ties in the back. Also made her a "mob" cap and put white hair on her and gave Santa a white beard. Every year for the past 37 years I've made my children a special ornament ( I don't let anyone copy them) and they are always surprised with what I've done. I just made an Angel out of a cone & used a ping pong ball for the head. Put "real" hair on them and they are very pretty. One I made yesterday is for an 87 year old woman who can't hear very well and has macular degenration so she is almost blind, but she loves Christmas & I feel like I should try to make her happy. Awesome video! She's so pretty.❤️ When you were putting her hair on around her face. Her hair started looking like mine does in the morning. It was scary seeing myself in video😅. When you added the ponytail, I thought ah there she is. Yes my hair does look like a troll in the morning. Overdue for a relaxer. 😂. The video made me laugh at myself. So sad 😂😂😂. Then you got to the messy bun and it was me again. At the finish line her hair is nice and neat. Mine not so much. I need to put glue in my hair 😅. Thank you Patti for making my day❤️

Some of the videos I have an idea and just wing it on camera. Thank God I am able to stop the camera and make adjustments along the way. I was blessed with a wonderful grandmother how taught me to craft when I was just 5 years old. She was very patient with me and she passed on her talents to me. Patti, Love all your gnomes, and I have a question. I made the boy elf gnome and wondered if you use hot glue when using foam? I used the hot glue and the foam melts a bit, It still holds but just wondering. Thanks for all your wonderful tutorials.
Thanks Shelby. I do use hot glue with foam. It does melt the foam just a little.

Patti I love your channel it’s so much fun to watch . May I ask if you use a low temp glue gun ? You never seem to burn yourself , I’m always jumping up and down because the glue is too hot
Thanks Terri. I get asked that question alot. Thankfully I am able to edit out my burns. Yes, I get burned all the time. I tell all my friends "if you don't get burned by your glue gun then your not a crafter". 😂😂😂😂

I’m having a hard time understanding the pattern to the jacket I printed out the pattern and not sure what it measures I’m new to this can someone please help me out ty
You place it on the fold of the fabric to cut it out. The curved part faces the front on the bottom like a robe and the trim goes around it. I hope this helps.
