@@chicityjay For many, Wawa is their favourite and it’s not hard to see why. Can play at a high level with style. People even called him the wonder boy (even someone like me who only plays the game casually comes to see his matches just to see his sauce - I mean dang just look at 51:23; no one in the competitive scene does saucy combos like him). So yeah, I wouldn’t blame the commentators to be at least a bit biased no matter how hard they try to be impartial. Perhaps it was noticeable but I don’t think it was enough cause for concern though.

@@chicityjay I dont think they are biased against Wade on that one. I mean, Wade is the kingslayer and he brings hype to every match he fights. The commentators try their best to make the matches hype and give equal chances for the players to win. You can also see that in the pools when FullMetalFury was there. They always say that FMF is the wild card in those matches and can take games from anyone.
The skill is def on display but for me i hate seeing everyone using the same 6 characters. Gets very boring just watching blue hairs, UI and a gogeta 4
