Nice video! Why do some 40z's employ a Seakeeper 5, and others, a Seakeeper 6? Also, this one doesnt have a day enterance to the shower, like some do. These boats are going to go up in value. I don't like the way the newer models look. It seems like the MJM 42 just isn't the same thing as these. It's got an odd layout. These are nicer.

The type of Seakeeper is related to the year of the boat. Seakeeper first came out with the 5 and later the 6. Once the 6 was offered the 40z changed to that unit due to the slightly shorter time it took to spool up. Each unit (the 5 or the 6) have good performance and you’d be splitting hairs between the units.
Very few 40’s have the day entrance to the shower.
