I disagree completely. The original series only lasted 1 year and 4 months. The revival lasted for 7 seasons.

The stories in the original black and white Outer Limits I think were better than the reboot but there are a decent number of episodes, like this one, that are every bit as good as the original show. This show and The Twilight Zone were must watch tv when they were on I think.

If an object struck the moon at 50% the speed of light - meaning over 90,000 miles per second - it could be the size of a BB and blow the moon into a million pieces. The aliens compared to humans would be like a human compared to an insect. Attacking them would mean certain death, betting on mercy was the only real option. Also, ICBMs/MIRVs have been able to take out satellites since the 1960's. These days AA batteries can take out satellites, that whole nuclear weapon in the space shuttle thing was quite odd!
