Additionally, pan’s reaction time on the relay was around .2. If you give him a .6-.7 reaction time we he would be around 46.3-46.4, with the lack of a flying start maybe 46.5-46.6. People peak in the 100 around 23 years old so Pan still has plenty of time to grow. Watch out for LA 2028. Popovici is also still young and has a lot left to give. He just finished high school so it would not surprise me to see him dial in on swim and drop some huge time as well. I think we’ll see a 45 flat start from either of those 2 before 2030

I am from the UK, please note many of us here find the accusations against Pan as disgraceful and embarrassing. He is now a household name in the UK and is very popular. Their blood turned purple from over oxidation. My guess is their blood without the drugs can only do so much , but when they have asthma drugs in their blood , the blood are over oxidized and turn purple instead of the normal red . Pan is different . He has enough blood cells to take the extra oxygen the normal way and so no pink. Huge fan of Swimming and especially great Chinese swimmers like Pan, Qin and Xu in the medley (Sun I admit I know less about) as well as many female swimmers too like Tang Qianting and Zhang Yufei. I am from the UK, please note many of us here find the accusations against Pan as disgraceful and embarrassing. He is now a household name in the UK and is very popular. Not all in the West dislike China's success in swimming, for many of us it is quite the opposite and we love the new battles and great swimmers we are seeing. Go China!!!

I just don't get why these many US athletes can get exemption for drug tests? They all say they have asthma or ADHD. Why Chinese athletes don't have these issues/exemptions?

Their blood turned purple from over oxidation. My guess is their blood without the drugs can only do so much , but when they have asthma drugs in their blood , the blood are over oxidized and turn purple instead of the normal red .
Pan is different . He has enough blood cells to take the extra oxygen the normal way and so no pink.
That can explain why if they did not take the drugs , the blood would be tired out ..but the drugs do extra wonders.
That is my own guess.... only.

I heard many negative things about China , I am againts Thier harassment and bullying in our EEZ base on International law but I watch this swimmer and I believed he won fair and square. He undergone all doping test and come up clean , He is the best swimmer in the world now. Congrats .

For those who don't understand Chinese, I'd like to give my interpretation. Pan said he didn't perform well in the last match but that might be a good thing, he could use that as a smokescreen. Now, how and why anyone would think someone can just increase that score, break the world record by just like snapping their fingers? of cos you can do that with increase dose of "asthma" treatment. without that smokescreen, we might see the US players whole body turn to purple instead of just the face.

You would think that a majority of athletes for a sport wouldn’t be asthmatic considering that’s literally the case for every sport in the world besides swimming for the USA.
But I guess the need to open your lungs for a sport that requires needing lungs that can handle a lot of air is important.
Like how long is the USA gonna act like they don’t cheat and try to act like they are the people that can uphold justice?
