    _____
For former oil rig worker Dwayne Collins, good enough didn’t even come close when it came to his daughter, Liberty. And while most people were turning to UA-cam to learn things like how to tie a bowtie or retile a kitchen, he used it to learn how to craft and perfect a superior prosthetic eye just for her.

I did not skip this ad. This is the kind of stuff I want to see on youtube, not UA-cam Red, not political garbage, not UA-cam's stupid propaganda. This is real, and it's worth watching.

This is what half of the UA-cam videos SHOULD be, heartwarming stories. This is what one man did with technology in 2019

What a wonderful story. Dwayne is a skilled technician, a wonderful father, and dedicated to helping people with his abilities. His beautiful daughter and his wife are brave, loving and trusting. The world needs more people like him. Stories like this give one hope for the world in the midst of ugliness.

I will watch "advertisements" like this all day long! Truly amazing what this dad has done for the love of his daughter. And the mother never questioned his passion. Such a strong family. To think he entered into a venture as foreign as this because of the trauma he felt when his daughter suffered at the hands of one "professional" should prompt us all to do what we can when it comes to our health and taking care of ourselves. No one will ever care for us as much as us! Gives me hope for humanity!

The internet is a wonderful place where people can learn about medical alternatives and communities for those who suffer the same thing they do. This is a beautiful story where one father shares the love he has for his daughter with others. Technology is amazing. Thank you for sharing this story Google.

This story touches my heart a bit, im blind in one eye from an accident when I was a year old, This man went beyond what most dads would do for their children, and if the man ever finds this video and reads the comments, then all my love man and thank you and your profession for making the prosthetic eyes or shells (This is what i've always called them) for people like your daughter and I.

at 12y/o my son was injured also and is now legally blind in one eye. i thank God his treatment didnt invole the horrible doctors out there. dr james martell in sacramento is an amazing man who initially treated my son for detached retina and with following his specific orders he healed the detached retina without surgery and dr said "he used one of his cat lives" on that fortunate event. he did have to have an artificial lens placed as a result of the scarring and damage and the surgeon was another very awesome eye specialist who understood what the future would be like for him. bless us all, our gifts will be known as they are needed. necessity being the mother of creation demands it love provides the drive. i love this dads' way of fixing the best possible for their beloved and others alike.

This advertisement really hit me. When I was four I suffered from the cancer retinoblastoma and I lost my right eye to it. I now have to have a prosthetic. The apointments for me were terrible as well. I had a verbally abusive ocular technition. I devoloped PTSD from these experience so young with all the doctors and hospitals and trauma. I am now over ten years free and clear. I was laying in bed with my fiance, and he turns music on UA-cam on before he goes to sleep. It Is two a.m. and I am having insomnia and I look up at the TV and see this add. Almost started crying immediately. This is so sweet

I am very sorry to hear what you have been through. I have just made two young girls with retinoblastoma eyes last week and it was an amazing experience making sure the parents were comfortable and that the girls were as happy as they could be with the whole situation. Knowing that we can make this part of there journey as stress free as possible is priceless.

More than most people, I understand the reasons behind "I can do this" "I am going to do this" "I must do this!" Go and get this done! :)

    Beautiful Liberty 😍
I remember being this little, and having to see the eye lady. She would be kind and lovely, but when it came to the part where I had to take my prosthetic eye out, I cried and cried. They would tell me it's ok, it's not going to hurt. But I was 4, 5, 6 years old... Imagine having somebody that close to your face saying 'it's not going to hurt!' it's so scary. From our experience, everything to do with that eye meant pain and discomfort. I didn't understand that the painful eye had gone and it was a pretend eye now, and it wouldn't hurt anymore. It feels weird sometimes, even to this day (I'm 37 now), to sit there in front of someone with no eye in. To be an ocularist you need to understand that discomfort. It's a job that needs people who can take time and explain things and listen to children. Well done dad. You're amazing. Please make me a bright purple and silver one? 😁
