@@letsif that’s not true. You can literally look at the collapse from all angles, and debris that falls from the building falls faster than the collapse point, which means the top of the building fell with resistance, but with negligible influence over the collapse.
Once one floor gave, the collapse has enough energy to progress to the street level from the initial collapsing floor.

If I remember it right, the original reporter (Max Westerman) for RTL in the Netherlands who was there the day it happened and I think I hear in this video as well, also said he was reluctant about showing some of the footage. He also took up a search to find some of the people he helped cross the Hudson, to interview them 15 years later. I can still remember that because it was all over the news in the Netherlands at the time (2016 if I remember it right) and even though RTL is a commercial broadcaster with the NOS being the big public newsbroadcaster (and thus competitor), dedicated quite the airtime to this upcoming documentary about the reunion with the reporter and those victims.

It is known that the were some people, mostly facing north, who were still alive until the very end. Edna Cintron, who was famous for waving from the impact zone, was alive until the end. I’ve always suspected that someone from the very upper floors jumped at the very last second, perhaps crashing just as the tower started to collapse. From another angle from the North, I thought I saw a person jump (because of the speed of it’s fall). This video makes me think it could indeed be true. If you check closely at 1:34, someone says « another person » and the cameraman says « oh my god », and the tower begins to collapse within 5 seconds. I’ve always suspected this, from the west face of the tower, could be the last « jumper ».
