What is your favorite culinary dish?? (If you know...you know)
I have a question. Have you seen "The Prince of Egypt (1998)" or "Joseph: The King of Dreams"? Those are amazing movies! 😱🔥
depends on the day and what I'm in the mood for
Honestly as cliché as it may be...pizza. you can do a lot with pizza. 😂
i don't know the reference
chicken piccata
Any Chinese food or Italian or anything with noodles to be honest 😅🍜🥡🥢
To anyone who’s wondering why there haven’t been ANY further episode reactions of the next One Piece episodes well it turns out that James or the White Noise Reacts Channel mentioned to someone during the live chat for the _A Series of Unfortunate Events_ reaction yesterday, that their _One Piece_ reactions of Episode 4-8 will not be released anytime soon as following their episode 3 reaction, they have been copyrighted by Netflix hence why they haven’t uploaded any further episode reactions for a month.
Dang. I had just started watching because of the One Piece reactions and now I saw the video where they are disbanding. That's a shame. These were some of the better reaction videos I have seen. Good luck in the future, y'all!
They don’t establish it well in the Netflix version but Zoro’s weakness is his lack of any sense of direction. He could get lost for days going down the street to a grocery store.
I guess that makes sense because he’s constantly drinking. 😂 Reminds me of Jack Sparrow, although Zoro definitely knows where the rum is.
Luffy as well. His sense of direction in early one piece was close to Zoro's but Zoro is the only human who can get lost in a straight line😂
Oda didn't establish it well either because in the first 50 episodes that was more Luffy's thing.
@@markussmedhus9717even in Alabasta he was still bad with directions. It improved a bit after Skypiea. Probably cause of the compass bird
They sort of alluded to it. It doesn’t really get obvious or established until much later in the story in the manga so they’ll probably start making it more obvious in the next season
The stern is the rear of the ship, the bow is the front. The carving on the front is the figurehead. And YES, the ships are all practical effects. I think most of it is actually.
The board game Coby and the vice admiral are playing is called Go.
A well known character trait of Zoro's is his horrible sense of direction. Man could get lost on a straight road with a map.
And YES we did see Yassop duting one of the flashbacks w/ Shanks. He was the sharp shooter.
And yeah they're condensing but like, realistically they have to. And as someone familiar w/ the source material, they're doing it really well.
Oh cool!!! Thanks for clarifying that
Also the left side of a ship/boat is PORT & the right side is STARBOARD.😁
@@poppletop8331 Specifically, in relation to the bow. So if you're facing the bow, port will be the left side of the ship and starboard the right. BUT if you turn around and face the stern, so the bow is behind you, starboard is now on your left side (which is still remains, the 'right' side of the boat).
*Hikaru no Go* needs a reboot bc it's honestly making me sad at how many anime reactors don't recognize the game.
The One Piece cast is perfectly casted and phenomenal. Kuro/Khaladore is so menacing yet creepy with some of the lines he says.
The fact that you guys are feeling the draw of Luffy’s character so well is testament of how well they did casting & adapting his character. The show’s creators even talked about how casting Luffy was always going to be the hardest part of this because his character is so unique and also so important for the show. The actor did such a good job. He’s not the exact same but he was never going to be so the show did the right thing and let him be a little different to fit the different medium without losing that draw Luffy has and the affect he has on people
Inaki Godoy is a fantastic choice to portray a charismatic leader who is also uncomplicatedly good.
Finally someone noticed the meaning of Klahadore’s character quirk. The reason he adjusts his glasses the way he does is because of his claws. This is explained in the anime but not in the live action, so no wonder that the live action viewers don’t catch that.
So kudos to you guys for spotting it!
Kaya is one of my favorite characters in this series- she's kind, generous and strong in own of recognizing that her sickness doesn't make her weak, and she wants to be treated like a person, not a glass figurine.
The decorative front of a ship is just called a figurehead, and the board game is called Go.
Luffy is naive, in many ways he's simple, but at the same time he has a quirky boundless amount of charisma, which is what makes him a great main character to follow. Inaki has done spectacularly with Luffy.
The guy they got to play Kuro is great as well, can really turn the sinister energy on, but his speed isn't a Devil Fruit, there are powers that go beyond the superhuman in the story, some train, some are just built different.
I still say that Kuro/Klahadore was being (surprisingly) honest when he looked disgusted and said "Funky Bar?"
I get the feeling that both as a pirate captain and as a butler he's a terrific snob and is unbelievably exclusive as to what kind of bar or tavern he'd ever visit.
I love that EVERYONE calls it Gatorade tea when they react to this episode! lol
I still love the wordplay of Usopp's name. A combination of Uso (lie in Japanese) and Aesop the famous writer of fables, including the Boy Who Cried Wolf as he obviously is the boy who cried pirates lol.
One thing you guys should know: whenever a character has a Devil Fruit they announce it, like "I ate the *** fruit, and know i'm made of ***"
So whenever you see a character that doesn't announces their fruit and explain their powers it's because everything they do comes from training REALLY HARD, or sometimes it's something they were born alredy knowing
almost everything is practical effects! The actors also did 2/3's of their own stunt work. The sets you see were all hand built, even the boats are built to sail functionally. all the water scenes were filmed on water too, apparently it was mesmerizing to be on every set where you could touch everything but sea sickness was a real issue during production.
wow! That's impressive for them.
We have crews like Shanks's crew - where he teases them and they tease him but you can tell that they've been together for years and that they care about each other.
And then we have crews like the Black Cat Pirates - where they're all rotten but you can tell the crew are genuinely frightened of their captain.
In the anime, from when they were young kids, Usopp would sit in a tree outside her window and tell her stories to cheer her up.
Klahadore's actor is both menacing and charismatic, great acting. Also, Live action Sham is peak Sham, just saying.
I love how they got irritating secondary villains like Sham and Pearl and made them so much better
@@marpj6138 Pearl?
@@second1387 Yes, he had a great role in the Live Action
@@GalekC Isn't Pearl a subordinate of Don Krieg? In LA, he was just laying down near Don Krieg during his introduction lol.
@@second1387 Exactly, killed offscreen and they did show us the body - the perfect adaptation and exactly what he deserved
Zoro isn’t quite as deadpan or edgy in the manga/anime, but he’s by far the most stoic Straw Hat.
He is such a goofy ball in the manga ❤
34:16 I wonder if Ussop started coming up with the adventures of 'the Great Captain Ussop' before his mother died or afterwards - if he felt guilty as well as heartbroken about his mother death (he was there but couldn't make her well, he tried to will his father into coming back thinking or rather hoping that that will make his mother better and he failed to do so) so to relieve his guilt he started creating stories about him being a hero.
And if it's got something to do with making himself a worthy enough son to come back to, a son that a notorious pirate will be proud of and will then want to come back to.
The manga/anime actually makes this explicit about Usopp's past. There, we see him telling wild stories to his ill mother -- like his Dad coming back home with a ship full of gold, or with a magic flower that will cure any disease -- all to encourage her to keep going. For me, it makes his back story, and his character traits, all the more tragic.
@@NealMarchuk The burdens of being limited to a time and a number of episodes. Oh well, sweet either way.
Hey guys, I noticed that group reaction of _The Sorcerers Apprentice_ wasn’t uploaded yesterday and today, hopefully you upload the reaction sooner than later next week as I don’t want another _Gravity_ situation where it was delayed for 2-3 weeks without any updates and explanation on what happened to the reaction.
From what I can tell Yassop didn't abandon Banchina and Ussop - technically. Banchina knew that he wanted to go out to see so she encouraged him to go. I think in the anime she said that she was proud to be married to a man who followed his dreams.
Still don't get why he couldn't have just sent a letter every now and then to let them know he was alive. And he could have tried to come back every few years just to see how they were doing.
I’m not sure how easy it is to send letters from the Grand Line to East Blue. There are also other reasons he wouldn’t contact them and why he thought leaving was worth the sacrifice, but that could risk getting into spoiler territory.
@@HeartlandHunny fair point
Or maybe go to Gekko islands when they were homing in Luffy’s place for over a YEAR. At that point Usopp was almost same age and Yasopp could go there and returned back to Luffy’s island, where Shanks and the crew was preparing for the Grand Line. At that point Shanks crew was good but not newrly as famous as after, so I think Yasopp could return back alone without issues.
25:30 A very comun gag in the anime is Zoro's bad sense of direction. He is always lose and it doesn't import if it is a place where is impossible to be lost, so when he said that these place is like a maze, he probably was walking in circles 😂😂
Me irl
29:42 Yeah, the blonde guy with the bandana that had 'Yassop' written on it - the sharpshooter who fired at a pole that ricocheted off and hit the mountain bandit that had the fat guy by the neck.
In one piece logic, if you train hard enough you could be stronger than what your body could only normally take. There is no physical limit to how strong you can become.
Zoro can carry large safe, Kuro can run fast.
Luffy actually also uses this logic, he's devil fruit turns his body into rubber but not freely control this property. You can see him, give force to his attacks first before landing a blow. The push and pull he does is his own physical strength. That's why whenever he throws a punch it pulls back first for more force and after the punch there's a type of recoil that he holds his shoulder.
15:26 Well, spotted! His "quirk" is earned from hard training and fighting over many many pirate years...
With these sword claws, doing it like this is one of the few only safe ways to correct his glasses without cutting his own face...
Yasopp on Shank's crew ( trick shot guy) = Usopp's father.
Glad to see you guys enjoying the series so much!
Just a bit more info on the board game that Koby and Garp were playing: As others have noted, it's called 'go', and it originated in China several thousands years ago, which makes it one of the oldest games still in existence. It bears only a superficial resemblance to Othello or Reversi, since the pieces or 'stones' never change colour. The object of the game is simple: To surround more territory on the board with your stones than your opponent does. At the same time, it's a very deep game, and players can spend a lifetime learning and perfecting strategies.
Yasopp is in episode 1 and 2. He is the one who does the trick shot off of the metal beam.
The ram/sheep in the front of the ship is just called a figurehead while the game with the black and white round stones is called Go
33:28 Yeah but before he's sounded excited and is telling everyone else to run and if he has time talks about how 'the Great Captain Usopp will protect you', now he sounds scared and is asking for help.
Yeah, I think it’s equally understandable why Usopp would expect them to realize this time is different as it’s understandable why they’d think he’s just escalating the lie to get more attention.
@@HeartlandHunny true
Gecko ISLANDS... Syrup VILLAGE... a village in the mainland of more than one that are on the same small group of islands...
I couldn’t believe how much the end of this episode got to me, I mean, I didn’t ask to be so emotionally invested in this character I just met, and yet… it just seems like a nightmare situation, I really feel for the guy. Like I cry every time, it’s not fair!
I was so hoping you would react to why he adjusts his glasses like that, as you said it's such a cool thing.
31:00 Morgan boasted about 'single-handedly' defeated 'Kuro of the Thousand plans', and we saw Kuro's wanted poster in the safe (just rolled up so we only saw the word 'Kuro' - I think you commented on the name, I think you said it means black?).
The sentimental music that plays when they first see the ship is from theme song ('We are") of the anime which will be played for important parts of the show
The whole shipyard construction site is all practical. This whole show used a lot of practical sets than CGI.
I can assure you guys, that condensing THAT type of anime is not only not difficult, but an incredibly good idea.
Think "Goku vs. Frieza" if you want to understand how drawn-out the anime is.
A lot of stuff was condensed and changed for the sake of the adaptions pacing and story build up.
Again, Corby, Helmeppo and Garp were not at all involved in the original version of the Captain Black story arc. They returned, way, way, way later into the story proper for example. Plus they cut out Captain Blacks right hand man named Jacko who, as the name suggests, was a parody of the famous singer Micheal jackson, which also included him getting introduced by randomly moonwalking into the village.
???? No, his name was Jango not Jacko.
@@SpiderRiderKya Also his name is Koby, not Corby.
@@SpiderRiderKya Although I haven't seen the anime, I fuck with this adaptation hard regardless.
Now, what I will say is that I can only hope OP/EnerKaizer was wrong about the name of this “right-hand man,” as you suggested because using the so-called name “Jacko” that the MSM used *[and continues to use]* to refer to Michael Jackson is incredibly racist and all-around fucked up, so here’s to hoping you're right and OP is wrong. 😳
@@kate_m_k88 read the anime and watched the manga, it's definitely Jango.
edit: one second after posting i realized i said i "read" the anime and "watched" the manga. i think i'm just gonna leave it that way for unintended comedic effect, but i felt the powerful urge to get it in writing that i do know what words mean lmao
@@MalkuthSephira Wise decision, my friend-wise decision indeed, lol.
In Episode 1 captain Morgan mentioned he became a captain of that base because he alone captured Kuro of the thousand plans...
then in Episode 2 The bounty in the safe was for Kuro... that is where Zoro recognized him from... it was in the safe because it was a treasure for morgan for how he captured him...
BUT there is a big but which was removed from the live action... in the original Kuro had his crew by the shore ready to attack the village and kill Kaya... among his crew there was his vice captain whose special ability was hypnotism... he was going to force Kaya into signing her will and then kill her among many others in the attack to rid himself of suspicion... That Hypnotist is the one who hypnotized a random pirate as well as captain Morgan into thinking one of them was Kuro and the other that he had captured him... therefore Morgan never actually earned his Rank...
Cant wait till ep. 5~ keep it coming, boys. ♡
guess there isn't more coming
@@Silphiroth 😥
30:03 He wasn't quite that deadpan to START, but he IS that deadpan later on in the anime. Still, he keeps a comedic edge even in the more serious episodes that's missing but I think that's because the adaptation has to remove the cartoon element.
The sets are all practical they built all the ships to scale.
I love your reactions and I have one thing to say...
bruh... what the hell are you doing leaving days gaps between uploads.
Upload one every day, guys... I can't wait to for the upcoming episodes.
notice at 24:57 , Buggy's right ear is missing...that will have something to do on Episode 6....
The crest on the front of a ship, like the sheep's head, is often called a figurehead
14:01 James being the fashion detective
I enjoy watching you guys have fun watching this series!!!
34:38 Yep. It's ALL TWO PARTERS. Technically even episodes one and two was a two partner because Luffy's backstory didn't finish until the end of episode 2. The Episodes 5 and 7 will ALSO end unresolved (In fact episode 6 completes the pair of episodes, but technically isn't resolved until the end of episode 7...which in turn isn't resolved til the season ends so...
BE WARNED: YOU WATCH EPISODE 5, the second half of the season, YOU CAN'T STOP because the 4 episodes of the second half are all one big story that the first half was just setting up...
Yassop is the one that did the shooting trick shot.
One piece is one of the few shows where the characters actually do change clothes (even if luffy and zoro stick a lot to the same style the clothes are different... And it is interesting that ALL the clothes nami wears in the live action are taken from the manga with very few adaptations... Nami has had at least 30-40 different attires through the 1100 chapters of the manga... and on top of those she has all the clothes she wears in the coverpages and c overspreads which are not canon to the story... Which she wears a few of while she is trying on clothes in the mansion... Also the first clothes we see her in in the live action are the attire she uses in the prototype character design for nami before the manga was actually serialized... also all the characters in our crew are using clothes from different parts of the manga...
I was waiting everyday for this video. Today was a crazy day so I didn't get to it til late cause I completely missed when it first dropped. I became so excited. Can't wait til you meet my favorite character in episode 5. Well, actually there are two of my favorites in episode 5. Yey!
6:13 The Figurehead.
"that's so freaky it's like a little alive thing"
we call those bugs
I love when new viewers first discover Luffy’s character. His personality, beliefs, morals, and innocence are unique to main characters in most shows i have watched. It’s wouldve easily been butchered in the LA but the adaptation did great!
Any update for the 4th episode😢?
James through the White Noise Reacts Channel username mentioned to someone during the live chat for the _A Series of Unfortunate Events_ reaction yesterday, that their _One Piece_ reactions of Episode 4-8 will not be released anytime soon as following their episode 3 reaction, their videos have been copyrighted by Netflix (not taken down) hence why they haven’t uploaded any further episode reactions for a month.
Syrup Village is on Ghekko Island.😊 Usopp's father was the guy who did the trick shot in 1x02.
i think you guys are the first ive seen react to this series and get the reason why Kuro pushes his glasses up like that when you see him with blades on his hands for the first time, I think many other people missed it lol
In the second episode Kuro’s wanted poster is in the safe.
I really want to see more of this. Is it available anywhere?
Do more of these
everyday we get closer to episode 5
20:11 Just wait until later. It only gets two lines in the anime, but it does literally speak through it's spirit. I won't say when though vecause that's a spoiler. You have a meet a few more characters and get through several more arcs first. I'd say season 4 or 5 you'll hear here very brief words...
Any update? Are we not gonna see the rest of the episodes? Im sad now😢 i keep on waiting huhu😞
they did Buchi dirty in Live Action😂,in anime he can make Zoro Tremble
okay they missing a character in this one in the anime but there was a poster on the board. Later on you see Merry this the character that a sheep who you see drawing the plans for it. The Funky Bar is a cover story in the Manga which tells you small stories of other characters. They have different themes in the are called The Black Cat Pirates.
Yes the ship is based off of Merry and he designed the ship himself...
Are you guys going to finish this show?
these bros need to turn 10 degrees towards each other
I really hope you guys can finish reacting to the rest of the episodes before this year ends.
one piece anime doesn't have all that much filler, but it does some tricks to slow down the plot to avoid catching up to the manga. i've seen the same character dying in a flashback so many times it went, from "oh no! this is awful"(sad) to "oh no! this is awful"(bored). we do have to consider that 8 one hour episodes is equivalent to 24 twenty minutes episodes in time. it's condensed, but less so than you'd think by episode count alone.
Actually most sets were built. They didn't use much CGI on them.
In the anime the ship belongs to Merry.
Will y’all be finishing the series?
Did you watch the rest of the season ? Because I can't find them on youtube ?
love the video
Yay! One Piece! ❤
Waiting For Yuyu Hakusho 👌
"Just run". You do realise, that would be impossible for Merry to run away from Kuro, right? He's about as fast, as bullet, or something...
where’s episode 4?
I hope you finish these One Piece reactions before you’re done
Wonderfull episode of one piece.
I have a question. Have you seen "The Prince of Egypt (1998)" or "Joseph: The King of Dreams"? Those are amazing movies! 😱🔥
All the ships are practical
Cadê a continuação do react one piece????
Should do rrr with the girls
The boys already reacted to _RRR_ but the thing is was that the girls (Hayley and Stella) were on vacation for 3-4 weeks following their most recent group reaction on _Tron_ back in July and didn’t return to the channel once they did _Independence Day_
post the next one now.... I need 😊😣
Hello I'm a fan of white nose react
Can u do maleficent part 2 pls
Yes.
Finally
So… are you guys going to finish this one? You abandoned way too soon.
Sadly James under the White Noise Reacts Channel mentioned to someone during the live chat for the _A Series of Unfortunate Events_ reaction, that their _One Piece_ reactions of Episode 4-8 will not be released anytime soon as following their episode 3 reaction, the next episodes have been copyrighted by Netflix hence why they haven’t uploaded any further episode reactions for a month.
In the Original, Merry didn't die. I think this will set up a precedent of Characters, who *should* have died in the Manga/Anime not surviving the Live Action (I'm looking at a certain Bird-themed Guy from the Alabasta-Arc. Seriously, a Nuke to the face should have done more than just some burns)
I ran the numbers on the last 3 months of reactions. I included feature length movies only.
The Boys - 15 vids, 41.4k avg. Views
The Girls - 10 vids, 49.8 avg. Views
4 Way - 10 vids, 53.2 avg. Views
The weakest showing was the boys, the girls beat those numbers by 20%, together they were the most successful because fans of both came together. What this shows, I think, is the girls were the strongest part of this channel and were a significant part of its development and success. They deserve to be bequeathed whatever is left of the channel when James leaves.
yes true they should... but.... what??
@cpt_choomba when the news hit there were fans who said the girls were late comers and weren't instrumental in the success of the show and didn't deserve to be handed the channel. That really pissed me off. So, I did some research. It's one thing to tell someone they're wrong and it's another when you prove it with facts and figures.
@@johnrob3215 Good job!
@@johnrob3215 I think it depends on the films the Girls are reacting to, for instance their reactions to _Predator, Ready Player One, Shawshank Redemption_ (until it was taken down for Copyright), _The Green Mile, Apollo 13_ and to a smaller degree _Good Will Hunting_ went to 15k-30k views within the next 24-48 hours with Green Mile now at 95k views 4 weeks later. However in some reactions like the _Blade Runner_ films, _The Prestige, Adam Project, A Beautiful Mind_ and _Stand By Me_ they only reach to 5k-10k views in less than 24-48 hours but eventually the viewership slows down and they earn only 1k viewers every 1-2 weeks and only earn to 12-20k views a month later.
@@johnrob3215 Even the same can be said with the group reactions, because if you look at their reactions following their _War of the Worlds_ reaction such as _2001, Meg 2: The Trench, Annihilation, Children of Men,_ and _Gravity_ their views are a lot less than their reactions before and it wasn’t until they reacted to the Fantasy Films starting with _Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves_ that those reactions started to eclipse those previous Sci-Fi reactions in viewership, but it was their reactions to _Maleficent (2014)_ and _Cinderella (2015)_ that they become more relevance in viewership with the former at 105k views 3-4 weeks later.
I think it also comes down to the type of movie they react to, if it’s a Critically acclaimed Classic film, a Disney movie, or a Big Blockbuster movie and Monster movie similar to _Jurassic Park, Pacific Rim_ or _War of the Worlds_ then the video reaction get more relevance and attention in viewership. I think the reason the Group reactions of _2001, Meg 2: The Trench, Annihilation, Children of Men,_ and _Gravity_ and the girls group reaction to _Blade Runner_ films, _The Prestige, Adam Project, A Beautiful Mind_ didn’t gain big views in the 70k-100k 3-4 weeks later were either:
1. Folks weren’t interested in watching those films and didn’t fitted the criteria they wanted to watch.
2. They wanted to see them expand to react to other things folks wanted to see instead, considering I grew tired that all four of them reacted to Sci-Fi movies for 7-8 months.
This trаsh is not One Piece. Please don't call it that.
