This video is two years old BUT I'm here to tell you that I've been a nurse for 20 years and now that my kids are grown, I'm enrolling in nail school this week! I'm so excited 😊

Same here i just do my own nails but i want to go to school for it
I started getting comfortable doing other people's nails by doing my family members. my daughters & cousins, & nieces. now when a new person want their's done, I'm comfortable with letting them know I'm new, but not terrible.

I went to school 2 years ago and loved it!!! We got to choose from regular kit or advanced kit. Mine came with gel lamp gel colors and all OPI products I was soooo happy when I opened it! We also used the same book! Good luck!
Thank you so much. I've been hearing a lot of kits comes with either nail drill or nail lamp. That would be nice for beginners who are just starting out. Of course I already have those things but it would be nice for the students.

I'm in nail school it's a lot of theory a lot on sanitation but it gets fun you'll love school
I know. You don't get to manicuring until chapter 13. But it's ok I'm still taking appointments in between classes.

ebay sells the nail files in bulk for pretty cheap but i haven't gotten any yet so i'm not sure if they good but check out the reviews

I am thinking about going to Nail Tech School. How was your journey thus far? How was the course overall? Did you feel like they gave you all the necessary tools to exceed in the Nail field? Did you think that tuition was over priced?
Hi...still in school. I think that you do learn alot but you still have to learn alit on your own as well. I feel its best to learn alot on your own then go to school. But every school is different in teaching so you just have to find the right one for you. And yes...its so over priced and way too many hours needed in Alabama.
@@NicoleNikkiB Thank you for responding. I am located in nyc they only require 250 hours and tuition I believe is under or around 3k. I will continue to follow your journey on YT and wish you all the best although your nails already look like pro quality work ; )

I went to school for nail tech in Texas and got the same bag and nail brush at the end of the course with a professional pedicure set and a bunch of Plastic nail brushes & cheap foot files! Oh and a few nail clippers!! Lol we did practice with the cnd products! We did have a kit that they issued us while going but it was all used but reusable stuff. Funny how different schools in different areas operate.Ur kit is so well thought out and put together!! I know u will do great cuz u are already great at nails!!

The placid finger is Made C you can slide a nail into the finger so you're working on it it looks more like a regular finger with a nail II use blue tack to hold my nail to my finger

I try to do a set at least twice a week. But honey I'm always in here playing around in acrylic lol. Being at my nail desk at home is my happy place lol.

Its was included im my deposit fee which was one total price. So I don't know how much this was by itself.
