I wanted to get those SO BAD…..but i absolutely can’t get over the size of them💯
They are worth it. Once I put them in my ears I forgot about the size and the color.
The sound is as good as the highest end
You are so right. Fit and audio quality are the #1 / #2 qualities for me. The Earfun Free Pro 2 are my favorite earbuds. They fit amazingly and I think they sound so good. I found out about them from this channel!
Love this review - I’ve gotten several different pairs of SoundPeats, as well as a pair of Earfun Air S and Donner DoBuds. Happy with all of them thanks to your reviews!
Ive been rocking the Jabra elite 10s and the comfort on those alone are ridiculously amazing. Also the sound signature is pretty damn good. But one thing i wish that would come back is neckband earbuds. I love the 1more dual bt ancs
As always, I appreciate your insight. No reason to overspend to get good sound
I bought the Status Between 3ANC based on your recommendations and I LOVE them! Their support is amazing and the earbuds have amazing audio quality despite looking like Ring doorbells! LOL
Spot on! I can’t put down my Soundcore P3i even though I have the AirPods Pro 1 and Bose Q45. But I also always take my SC P3i as I love the bass they got 👍
Great review. I really want these. My favs are Earfun Free Pro 2 and Status. I just have a fit issue with the Status though. I do have the Earfun Free Pro 3 but prefer the sound on 2. Donner Dobuds is right up there though. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next vid.
Very classic case of "You know who you are." and I respect that. I respect how clearly you put the expectation out there.
Such an amazing perspective..I truly enjoy your videos boss!!!
I really like my SoundPEATS Air4 Pro. The bass! And I’ve tried a lot of earbuds. I’ll bet the Opera 05 do sound great. Tempted.
I remember you speaking about these and I often appreciate the little guy as well. It's part of why my headphone rotation is so high and different. I have my eye on these
That's why I love your channel for honest opinion and transparency.. Thank you Keith keep it up bro.
I'm recovering from a stroke so I'm looking for a clear recommendation as to best esrbuds for sound. Based on this video, the OPERA 05's look like an excellent choice. Thank you for being so clear and candid
They're just so damn big.
Also agree @6:24 - very good points that a lot of people won't listen to! Most people will go with what is marketed rather than doing their own research.
Great video dude! You just added 2 more earbuds to my list to buy on Amazon before the years out 🤣, plus I really like SoundPeats products, a very premium company! 👍
The earfun free pro 3 has replace these as my daily pickup. I still love love the soundpeats, but the comfort and ANC is much better. Great vid.
I get my One Plus and ANC3 next week. Thanks all.
I most definitely agree with you on this matter. The Between 3ANC are my favorite earbuds at the moment, followed by the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 then EarFun Free Pro 3, which I’m using to watch this video. The Tozo nc7 updated version are really solid for $40 as well. My point, there’s definitely a lot of good options out there for $100 or less
The best under $50 are the Tozo open buds. All day comfort
@@gtbigdog3507 I get that with the EarFun Free Pro 3 as well with a MUCH better sound quality
I have Engine 4 and they are very good. Is it worth getting Opera 05 ? Is the sound even better ?
I got the tozo nc9 in my opinion they don't get loud enough. Do the opra get loud? I like the option to increase the level to my liking.
I would get these after your reviews couse I love that sound signiture - I just still got the SLP3. Which has better sound?
Wow, interesting note about the XM4's vs the XM5's. I was IMMENSELY disappointed in the XM4's, they didn't fit my ears at all (the eartip part did, but that bulbous body just jutted straight out of my ears) and that usually NEVER happens. I have 20+ TWS earbuds and have had many more, and it's not a problem with any of the others. The sound was also disappointing to me, veiled and dull.
This year though? Fit is great, sound is great, and overall one of the most balanced and well-rounded TWS packages when you look at the bigger picture there.
Tbf I think the XM4's did get an update that improved the sound way after I got rid of mine.
Interesting how different opinions can be nonetheless..
I use foam eartips, helps with the fit for me. The sound is superior to the xm5s and bose
Cool to know as I have been curious about these despite the large size. My favorite daily is the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro, with Status Between 3 ANC in 2nd. Night/Bedtime drivers are the 1more EVO. I also use the JBL Tune 130NC as 'throwback' drivers as well. Thx for sharing!!
Got the Evo's and OnePlus buds pro 2. Both are killers in the sound quality department. I think the Evo's are better though.
@elizmanandhar1 I believe the EVO have deeper bass and more Soundstage. OnePlus Buds Pro 2 have better ANC and transparency in my experience. EVO are my go-to at night as I have fallen asleep countless times w/ no discomfort.
@@DJ279V yes, you are absolutely right. The buds pro 2 I feel are a little more comfortable due to their light weight. But, When it comes to longer serious listening sessions, the Evo's arey go-to's due to the better sound quality.
Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your thoughts. Blessings on your day!
Is there one you recommend for truck drivers that have good battery life and good sound cancellation
I usually switch between the Opera 05 for sound and the Bose QC 2 for the noise canceling. With the Opera 05s I have no problem with fit or look.
I had the defier w240tn and wasn't sure if it's worth to buy these. Tried out anyway and the opera 05 are insane. Absolutely love them. Sound is like 350€+ headphones bass is awesome
Great you mentioned Between 3ANC as it almost provides XM4 headphones sound quality to me.
Help please, Which is louder with heavy bass ?
Back bay tempo 30
Votomy v22
Soundpeats opera 05
Is there a model that you can suggest?
i have soundpeats h1 . is it worth upgrading ?
I have these for a quite while now. The have the best sound. I always prefer listening to them over my OnePlus 2 Pro and Liberty 4 NC. The dynamic balance is outstanding. Phenomenal performance!
You made a great point with the no name brands. You’re 100% on this. I purchased Tozo Nc7 cause I watched your review, excellent for 40.00 bucks. 👍🏼
My personal favorite right now is the kz vxs for the AMAZING fit and still very good sound
Vxs pro is out now too :)
@@AriSuley92 I know 😁 in a couple of weeks I'll be getting them
Mic quality
Sound quality
Transparent mode
Case with good battery or decent earbuds battery but doesn't matter much
ANC doesn't matter. Hardly uses
Personally love the status 3ans trying them but will be returning them and trying something else. It's kind of early for them. Still stuck on my Liberty 3 pros but lost them recently so
Soundpeats air 3 are my daily driver. Not the best headphones I own but are the most useful. I wear earplugs all day at work so I don’t like to wear headphones with the silicone tips at home . They sound great and I can still hear my surroundings when I’m walking my dog , riding my bike or doing stuff around the house. When I want to listen to a new album or just want bass ,I pull out the soundcore liberty 3 .
I have the capsule3 pros. Sound is great. Charge is great. To me only fault to mine is they are a little bulky in my ear.
I brought it for Cyber Monday for $59! I fu**ing love them!!!
So, in your opinion what are the best flat/reference style earbuds?
Hi there, between these and Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, which would you recommend? I love an open soundstage and instrument separation.
I used Soundpeats H2 for a while and loved them. But they had no app support and the battery was on the shorter side. This is why I went with Soundcore this time. Waiting for them to arrive.
Kinda regret not getting Opera 5's
Both are great but I'd give the advantage to the Opera 05
Hi, I’m looking for the best wireless charging earbuds with a hook or a cable so it don’t get lost. Any suggestions?
Gamesky ! Thanks for your honest review!!!
Yeah, everybody's person preference is different. I love my 1More TWS ANC as they have the best sounding audio, that I have ever heard. But during the weekends I use my Galaxy Buds Pro as they can switch back and forth easily between my Galaxy devices
Which is better status between pro or soundcore a20i
Do you have EQ setting recommendations?
Are the sound peats sound quality better than the Sennheiser 3's?
These are still my number1s for sound. I have tried top end earbuds and i still prefer the sound on these for 100$ they sound fantastic
I got the Opera 05 on cyber Monday on Amazon for $75.99 and I’m so mad I waited. I have very small ears and these fit great. That’s why I waited I didn’t think they would fit because they are big, but o was wrong and these sound every bit as good as my Between 3ANC and much better than my Bose QCii buds. Get them. You won’t be sorry and in a quiet room, calls are clear too.
I choose Engine4 rather than Opera 5 because it's size too big & kinda awkward lol. Agree, Sound quality matter to me, what I want Play/Pause,Prev/Next & Vol Down/Up is enough for touch function. Bigger battery also great for prolong the use & earbuds life span. Don't want it only last for year & need change again
I quitted silicone tips. No more ear pressure ,wax dirt etc..I just recommend Shokz openfit or similar models. Peace
are you planning on reviewing the moondrop space travel?
What do you think in comparison of the SoundPEATS Opera 05 and the Status Between 3ANC?
I actually like that these are so large because I want strangers to see them in my ears and leave me the hell alone and not try to talk to me when I am at the gym or out in public.
Speaking of soundpeats, the capsule 3 Pro sounds great but i can't wear them for long for comfort reasons.
Great video! Looking forward to your Top X list for 2023! 💖💖💖
Different beyween opera 5 and 3 in term of sound quality is it huge...?
I'm more of metal genre listener
I got the Opera 05 new for $55 and I love it, but I`m using the eartips from my MTW3 because the stock ones are hard they hurt my ears within an hour
Im a soundpeats fan i have many pair but the operas are some uncomfortable for me i have the 03.
I wanted these but instead went for the engine 4 and ohhh boy, such a great sound quality!
The Engine 4's are great too
Thank you my friend
XM4s were too chunky for me. XM5s fit well, and feel/look premium.
Nice video. I use pixel buds pro.
The earbuds I reach for the most are AirPods Pro 2 for the convenience and reliability 2. JBL live pro. 3. Status for the sound and fit. 4 the Jabra 4 Active for exercise 5 Tozo open buds for comfort
As much as I love earbuds overall my biggest concern is that they ALL eventually fail. Between the batteries in the buds and case they're expendable. Imagine the sales of a pair of earbuds that had replaceable batteries?
And as always Keith another great video Sir
Agreed, shared that concern when getting into BT buds. My solutions:
1. Proper li-ion battery care - ie top ups rather than full discharges to very low or zero
2. Get buds with the longest battery life (on a single charge). This way you get the most hours of continuous use without a deep discharge
3. Rather than run one pair, get a bunch of them (I have a dozen or more, various brands) and rotate them. This helps minimize battery cycles as each sees use like once per week or less.
My first pair was Soundpeats T2 - bought 2020 and batteries still very healthy. I cant kill them before I need a break lol
I have the same problem with all the earbuds I’ve tried. Until I got the EarFun Free Pro 3’s. They have yet to budge or fall out of my ears during some extremely intense workouts.
I tried them and did not care for the sound tuning. The most impressive recent bud that I have used is the Between Pros. Phenomenal sound stage and performance even with passive noise isolation.
EQ
@@joeromack6188 I tried to use the EQ to tune it and still did not get a good sound profile. Don't just take it from me... try it and see.
I'm glad to see this video because in the past I had the XM4 and had problems with the battery draining. I was very disappointed so I bought this model for Christmas because I realized that I would rather pay $50 on Soundpeats every year than pay $250 every 2 years for Sony.
Yeah same goes for me. These under $100+ headphones have come very far. And Soundwiese they are at the same level as high end headphones. I'll probably never buy a headphone of one of the big brands
id argue the regular consumer cares about features more than sound. dont people on the go who use earbuds just casually listen to spotify or podcasts? they dont need ldac, or hi res or a harman curve. but they do need their buds to last a 5-6hr flight, they need the ANC for a bus commute, etc. those are the features that matter more than if mids are muddy. if im wrong, let me know
I agree, if that makes me a "regular consumer", so be it. Comfort & battery life come first, everything else is gravy. My current daily driver is the Soundcore Space A40.
I definitely care more about sound! Sound is literally the reason for the product! 🤣.
dat tm11 is basically made for dx9, prepare more $, you wont regret it
bcs chance dx9 is limited as well
They are insanely awesome 👌 just bought them ... damn their awesome. OPERA 05 broke the mold. Their Chunky... but they are my most amazing bud... the Opera O5 chunkiness reminds me of the JABRA Elite 10 , which is just as big but way way more expensive at $250 because it's a name brand (Jabra) and it gets hyped... so your statement about EARBUDS that get relentless hype cuz of their name : SONY JABRA BOSE APPLE BOWERS&WILKINS and SENHEISER... are way way way higher priced and you're basically paying for the hype tax... IS ACCURATE.
Dawg I've got the jabra elite 10s and they're not actually that big at all
The elite 10's are the best fitting buds out there and they aren't even remotely big. You must either be delusional or just hating on them for no reason. Don't spread false information
I respect your take and what you put an emphasis on in terms of what makes or breaks a "good earbud".
With that being said, would you take the Oper05 over something like the Beoplay EX, Pi7 s2 or the Denon PerL Pro? All 3 have huge downsides in terms of either noise cancelling, battery life, or connectivity, but are all lauded for their sound quality.
My Fav from Soundpeats is the Engine 4 got it for 32$, Out of the box they dont sound good at all but they look great. Soundpeats chopped off some of features to lower the cost but the main feature is the dual driver with LDAC these babies when EQ tuned properly can compete with expensive heavily marketed TWS. For just 32$ there are no other TWS can beat sound quality of Engine 4. It can easy produce any kind of bass you throw at it, will pass with flying colors. Soundpeats need to work on their app, it should have feature of more than 1 custom EQ profile.
Can you please share your EQ for the Engine 4 ?
@@infamousX everytime you connect make sure to set LDAC quality to its highest "optimizied audio oquality 990kbps" in developer options. This will fix the cracking noise playing hires flac files.
EQ settings
31hz +5, 62hz +5, 125hz +3, 250hz +2, 500hz +1, 1k 0, 2k -1, 4k +3, 8k +4, 16k +4
@@zombieryder where do you make those EQ changes ? A third party app like Poweramp equaliser or something else?
Btw I listen to music on Spotify so I don't think I can get a benefit from 990kbps and that's why I leave it on default.
@@infamousX eq settings in soundpeats app. Do not make any eq on any player
My first ever TWS was soundpeats
Same I bought the T2
My first purchase h2
Bass! everything else is extra.
😅
Soundpeats is next to none besides Enacfire for budget earbuds.
Love the sound but the fit and size is horrible, any movement and it falls off
Who?! Sound BEATS?!
Engine 4
You are constantly avoiding to review the realme buds air 5 pro, and there is a big quantum leap between those 2.
I a well placed to tell us because I possess both of them, and I almost never use the soundpeats.
You want incredible earbuds, try the realme. And the good news is that they are much cheaper
As an audiophile who just recently got this they audio is not the superb just at the right price good bass and treble but there is no shining quality
Is this a paid ad???
No. I'm not sure why it is that someone can't just like something or talk positively about something without people assuming it's a paid ad
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I hear what you’re saying about sound quality but I’d argue fit, comfort and Bluetooth stability are more slightly important in a wireless earbud … that’s why I like Jabra … anyway thanks for the video 👍
Love the side rant! As a parent of teenagers one of which is whole heartedly on the anything apple bandwagon, I am constantly saying Apple is over rated! Airpods...OVER RATED!
Finally to prove my point, got him a pair of soundpeats Air 3's and he flipped out at how much better they are then the over hyped, over rated airpods.
If anyone wondered, I'm not a big fan of apple...but that's just me!
First 🥇!!!! What's up Keith
But man, they are bulky and look Chinese! Do you know what I mean? Fiio tws is the way to go, not Soundpeats who has no proper customer service. Or Edifier who think the way forward is SBC codec from the stone age. Fiio the company to provide technicality and quality. Soundpeats doesn't.
they do look really bulky
These have the same issue as the sound Peats engine 4 they are way too big for my ears
I totally agree, first comfort then sound, otherwise… what sense does it make if they sound fantastic but every 10 min you have to take them out!
I was debating a lot and picked liberty 3 pro over these 🥲
