dude Ant-Man and the rest of the Avengers ROCK! I'm really excited for a more comedic marvel movie. it'd be weird at this point if they didn't even bother to focus on the other Avengers in their own separate movies, assuming Wasp will be in this movie.
I think the movie will revitalize the character and make him popular. I've been an Ant-Man fan for 30+ years (heck, even my UA-cam ID reflects that!). I support the movie idea 100%, and I can't wait to see how cool Edgar Wright will make him. People who scoff now will be amazed when it's released.
I don't know about ant man, you got in teh avengers Iron Man, Captain America, Thor The Hulk....... well known chacters...then ant man, i can honestly say i never heard of Ant Man before, but can some one jsut breifly tell me what he does.. and do you think he should be the comic " as funny" hero of the team
I think this is a bit of an odd choice. I mean, I love Edgar Wright's movies. But I generally don't think making an Ant-Man movie is a good idea; populace has no idea who he is, fandom's response is, "Oh! the guy who beat up his wife." Wright really should do a 'Deadpool and Cable' movie instead.
@theSkippyspartan Umm...if you watch the Avengers cartoon movies or show you'll see he's like an original Avenger, he's kind of the sarcastic jerk. He can make himself super big and change his size and stuff.
did edgar possibly put his foot in his mouth when he said they had never heard of ant-man prior to their meeting? @ 1:50 either way i think he was better off not doing ant-man, he is way too creatively unique for MCU
Edgar said he working on the script three years before this meeting so I don’t know where you got that from. He’s a comicbook fan and read Antman comics as a kid. He’s an auteur director, but so is Sam Raimi, James Gunn and Taika Waititi and the films they made for Marvel are distinctly theres (although Love and Thunder is mixed). I guess Marvel allows leniency for some properties.
