This past month I've been getting into 3d printing and printed my very own model of the Descent ship from the 90's game Descent. It's the Pyro GX. It's a multi-color print as well. Very retro! lol
23:40 I had a moment like this. Back in the day I didn't have many floppy disks for my C-64, maybe just a dozen. They were a quite eclectic collection of all brands, some rather obscure, including a West German brand named "Dialog". The labels were Cyrillic, they were probably made for export to the USSR. I gave away all of my disks when I sold my faithful old C-64G. (One of the biggest mistakes of my life.) Many years later, actually in 2020, there was a post on my Instagram feed. A picture of a very eclectic, and suspiciously familiar pack of floppy disks, with a few Dialog ones, with Cyrillic labels. A fellow collector was happy with them, he just picked them up somewhere. I commented something like: "Hey, this looks exactly like my disk collection I gave away in 1992 in Budapest!" Guess what? He was Hungarian too. I'm fairly convinced that I saw my old disks 30 years after I parted with them.
I watched this while sat on a portaloo at a music festival in a pretty bad state.. it cheered me up no end! It was very grounding to watch you two do your usual, wonderful retro thing while my brain was doing cartwheels in my skull. Thank you! :)

I really liked the Coca Cola (not available in Europe it seems) and the handheld C64. To be able to take your 'real' C64 with you on the way was one of my biggest wishes when I was young. SO cool..

For those of you who may not know, the word "REVENGE" was changed to "RETURN" because George Lucas thought that a Jedi would never seek revenge. Not sure if the plot was changed to reflect that fact or just the title.

I had a Dusty Bin toy box when I was about 2 years old. One morning I woke up to find mum cleaning my toy cars from Dusty Bin. It turns out that I was sleepwalking and I had urinated in Dusty Bin thinking it was the toilet. The podcast Accetable in the 80s had described in vivid detail his brother doing exactly the same thing in their Dusty Bin toy box. These toy boxes were cursed.
What? No bit where Peri does a bad impression and Lady Fractic ties him up or threatens to skewer him with a cooking utensil? That had become my favorite part of the recipode! Oh, there it is! You failed to mention..... if that couple won the star prize on 3.2.1 they must have had a mega brain. To solve the riddle required intelligence not evident on planet earth - it was bonkers!
Uni64 has the PCBs for that handheld plus a bunch of other modular designs. To include an ATX commodore 64 that has upgrade cards etc.. Mathias the creator has really innovated the designs. You should consider building one or all of them.
I did an ATX64 from UNI64. Still thinking about starting to build the Alien Eliminator board that I also bought. But I have done a SixtyClone 250466 in new case and all that, so I am not in a hurry to build a third C64 from scratch. I did however mod the ROM set on my ATX64. Needed to have the 3 in one file and write to one chip. However, it went well and it is working. Still need to do a few things before my ATX64 is fully how I like it.
That DeLorean looks really good. It doesn't remind me of the original one much though. Also, the doors are huge! I'd really love to have an electric original DeLorean.

14:14 The bubbles may be smaller because of the use of nitrogen gas instead of carbon dioxide. That's also why it would taste very sweet due to the lack of bitterness imparted by carbon dioxide. I don't know if Coca Cola Byte is like that but that's what Pepsi Nitro is like.
I looked into it more and Byte has just normal carbonated water. It seems nitrogen gas makes a drink that is smoother and foamy and doesn't have the "burn" of fizzy carbonated water. Some say it's almost like it's flat but with foam.

The handheld64, is invented by Matthias in Germany. UNI64 is the name of the company, and I have build the ATX64. I do have videoes on youtube, but Nils have a whole series about his ATX64 machine. We are only a small handfull that have presented our ATX64 on youtube. 4 people max, if we dont count Matthias. I believe the ATX64 to be the ultimate C64 of all clones of the original system. Dual SID, supports every single SID and VIC-II versions ever made, build in PI-1541 header, internal serial port, external serial port, slots for expansion cards and way more.... And fits in an ATX case, and can use both internal ATX PSU or external barrel plug PSU. UBI64 is the name of the company that sell C64 clones. And ohhh boy. There are tons of different models. And yet. Nobody really talk about this company at all. It is still much underground. Sadly. As the boards are awesomme.

@@fuckutube65 At some point yes. Kawari (or what it is called) and FPGA versions of CIA chips are being worked at. But we at least have ARM-SID and FPGA-SID as of now. I have seen more dead SID's than dead VIC-II or CIA's at this point. Or semi dead SID's. They are so fragile.

@@fuckutube65 Nice. I love these boards from Matthias. Especially my ATX64. I think it may be the ultimate C64 that are based on the original design with real chips. It has tons of features, that makes it a really nice board.
The portable C64 is also nice. I went on the UNI64 webshop yesterday, and I can see that a lot of boards have been renamed now. I have a question though. The RaspberryPI that you have in your portable machine. Is that a PI-1541 drive?

Actually the Sega CD attachment on the Mega Drive Mini isn't the charging station, it's just a cosmetic add on. The system will be around 75 USD and the addon will be around another 35 USD.

Yeah, well, unfortunately the original chips aren't manufactured anymore... But who knows, with all those new SID and VIC FPGA replacements, maybe some day we can have a Handheld 64 with all new chips? ;-)
@@fuckutube65 At some point yes. Kawari (or what it is called) and FPGA versions of CIA chips are being worked at. But we at least have ARM-SID and FPGA-SID as of now. I have seen more dead SID's than dead VIC-II or CIA's at this point. Or semi dead SID's. They are so fragile.
