- Great! Now you know the secrets of this powerful knot, these knots are reliable and you need these knot secrets, very few people know these knots, we are sharing different knot secrets.
Clove hitch with a half hitch backup. Quick and unbeatable.
The first knot is only good if there is a horizontal load from the left. It needs a couple of wraps to be better.
The second knot would be better with a final quick release loop in case the rope got wet and hard to untie.
The best knots remove quickly and effortlessly .. that first one is a variation of the Bank Robbers Knot.
Back in the horse riding bank robbing days we needed to be able to mount our horse, untie the hitch and ride like a bat outta hell withing seconds. 👍😎✊

If you don't know knots, do lots. I had the same experience 15 years ago at a place I worked. Got put in a situation when I needed to use rope and had no idea what I was doing with it. The moment I got home I went and taught myself 3 basic knots for tying loads down. Been fascinated with em since

That first knot is lovely, I've already perfected the second one, the granny knot. That one comes natural to me but that 1st one is awesome.

That was not a Granny knot, which is similar to a Square knot.

Well, duh!!! No one with two active brain cells is going to tie this to a stokes litter to pull an injured person up out of a ravine.
What the first knot is useful for is stringing up a wet paint sign. Once tension is released, the knot undoes itself and no need to go untie a bowline or six half hitches.
This isn’t a knot for tying off and repelling down from a helicopter into a hostile LZ.
But a parent wanting to run a finish line across the yard for their children to race towards, it’s great. Again, just let go of the tension and no more knot.
The first one is great, the 2nd is over complicated and not necessary, as there are much easier ones for the same use. Just my opinion… Subbed and great work!

@@mixcontainer5502 второй узел вполне рабочий. Но под серьезной нагрузкой он затянется так, что проще будет разрезать, чем развязать.

Интересно, только мудрено, первый можно завязать обычную петельку, а второй простая хирургическая петля.
Первый узел- сомнительный. Чуть ослабнет натяжение длинного конца - и петля из охвта может выскочить. ИМХО.
