iPhone 12 Pro ULTRAWIDE 4K: Upstate New York
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- You might've felt a little overwhelmed from my last upload of New York and I can admit I felt it too. After exploring the city I made my way upstate for a getaway. This is the second video to my ultrawide series where I tested out the iPhone 12 Pros 12-Megapixel f/2.4 13mm Ultrawide lens. The new ultrawide corrects the lens distortion from the previous iPhone 11 Pro.
No external lenses
Shot on iPhone’s native Camera app
4K 24/60 FPS
Edited on my MacBook Pro (Final Cut Pro X)

You guys.. this was shot on the ultrawide camera. Yes there will be noise and yes the low light shots are sometimes nasty
I played this on a 4k monitor. nasty.
i returned the iphone 11 pro max last year because the ultrawide was fucking awful quality. Looks like nothing changed with the iphone 12.
thanks .. i came just for that
Everyone always looks at me crazy when I tell them my favorite camera is my phone
Seriously? This is from iPhone12 Pro??? So cooool!!!
The best camera is the one you have with you
where is this omg
Wow. Did you used gimbal or just handheld?
True....Andy. I too had that experience .
Bro, this was amazing! I've never owned an iPhone, but considering the 12 Pro Max because of the camera - and I think you just sealed the deal 👌🏿🔥
Is there gonna be a better ultra wide camera?
For stills get the pixel 5...for video get the iPhone 12 pro max
@@GeorgieTVRus Nah, but the main sensor is a bit better.
@@antonmartinsson sad, i think ultrawide camera is not great.
@@GeorgieTVRus yes, the ultra wide is not great, especially indoors, it is pretty grainy
Man you hit us with the calm, sentimental vibes on this one and I love it. Shows your versatility.
Mainly iphone's ultrawide are the best 😍🔥
if you had a stressful day, just watch this video. Great job as always Andy To.
Outdoor shots were amazing. Indoors were disappointing.
dissapointing? How? What exacly do you expect of a 1.4micrometer 12mp camera in low light?
The real dissapointment here is the incredible lag.
iPhone camera’s do great outdoors but completely fall apart indoors. So much noise especially on the ultra wide. Still impressive overall.
I shoot real estate that this couldn’t be further from the truth. Use filmic pro, shoot at the highest bit rate, in log, and it looks incredible.
@@SMG_Media_Marketing wont the ibis turn off when using filmic pro?
Someone always have something negative to say and then say at the end but still good overall 😂✌🏼.
Honestly the lags are the thing that really cringes me rather than noise at this point
@@SMG_Media_Marketing louis rossman already made tons of videos about how pathethic most real estate people are, so your comment holds 0 value to anyone who knows what a garbage job most people are doing. Not saying you are, but saying that a 1.4micrometer camera is a good choice even with fimlic pro in low light makes me question your competence.
Videos like this remind me why I LOVE living in upstate NY! Great job!
U are the best filming with mobile no doubts
You showed how the camera didn't glitch at all. I'm ordering the max!
I get it now. Your city game it tops but you gotta level up your stuff when it comes to nature.
Nice video, but I personally don't think the iPhone 12 Pro is worth the upgrade from the iPhone 11 Pro. Let's see how the 12 Pro Max's cameras perform.
Just amazing video! Love this! Super clear! Can’t wait ti get iPhone 12 Pro Max! Lots of love.. From Singapore
It looks nice when theres sufficient light, its got that video effect meaning its just not recording what is changing, but every frame is like a photoframe with good focusing. But quality wise, id still prefer any of the current android flagships. THey have less distortion in most places and dont jump around with the HDR or white balance. Also, if theres even a slight drop in lumination, the video just looks mushy and noisy, like a cheap compact camera.
I am pretty sure those noisy shots were taken with ultra-wide camera. The ultra-wide lens doesn’t have a very good aperture and therefore it needs a lot of light in order to look good. The classic wide lens and telephoto lens look absolutely stunning, video quality and photo quality
@@NathansTutorials those inside shots with the food didn't quite look like ultra wide, but maybe they were slightly zoomed. Still I stand by the distortion and hdr hiccups, they are a big no no for pro footage. Everyday tho, Noone will care.
A lot of people are saying that the 12 pro and pro max overexpose
Sony Xperia 1 mark ii cinemapro-😁 👍

Man you’re such an inspiration! Thank you for your amazing vids! I’m just learning and your videos helps me a lot! Cheers
Did you did any colorgrading? I can see you used an Osmo mobile and also light is right on point on most of the shots plus this northamerican forest places are proved to look way more shape and clear on video, I think it has to be with the light on this global position and the shapes and colors of this kinda places
Enjoyed this edit. Enjoy the peace of nature
have you edited this video using adobe premier pro or similar programs or it is only the default setting in iphone 12 pro ? cause if you have not used any editing programs in this video I would say you are the best videographer in the world , it is amazing shooting
Awesome work! Can't wait to test the coming iPhone 12 Pro Max! By the way are you using any gimbal or just hand hold shooting only?
This is awesome man! Did you use your OM 4 for this as well?
😍😍😍 Grettings from Poland!
Dude where is this cabin. It was incredible.
Always love ur content, keep doing u! B safe out there, peace and blessings B more✊🏿.
beautiful fall camping footege Andy ! but feel a little dizzy watching it, is this because there is no motion blur or too high shutter speed in phone recording?
Stunningly beautiful, thanks for this. Gorgeous. ❤️
Wow!
OMG! Where is that place? I think a have to move lol. Amazing video!!!
Did you use a gimbal for the movement shots entering the house?
You using an external mic for this? Great video as always
No external mic
Excellent iPhone and excellent videography... #travelingbong
So beautiful
You recommend this phone ;)
Love this vid again! so good,
If you use the FilmicPro App you will get higher video quality.
Dolby Vision?? Did you ever try the Dolby Vision option??
Your video is great, beautiful scenery/subjects, but that ultrawide is soft.
Dope vid!! But those are some overcooked eggs lol
That’s what I said.. I don’t like my eggs like that 🤫😂
Sir , which gimbal you used to shoot ?
Nice
great video :) can anyone tell me when should I use 24 and when 60 FPS?
❤❤
Did you use gimbal at the begining of this video ?
Start at 0:16 i cant believe even the 12 pro still have that frame skipping or jitter problem? my 8plus had it and my 11pro max does it too sometime🤔 can anybody explain this issue?no its not yt compression incase you gonna say so.
Notification squad.
Yours was over exposed as well?
Excellent cinematography !! Pretty terrible video quality from Ultrawide :(
where in upstate ny is this
There is lot motion blur..
Still just a phone with a built in camera. I wouldn't rely on it for serious holiday memories. Use a proper camera for the job.
Is this kaaterskill?
I loved this bro
👍👍👍👍
Metoo🤘🏻. I am using iPhone to record my life too
How wide is the iPhone lens compared to a full frame camera. Would it be a 20mm?
I already know you probably took some crazy photos! Love your work bro
Cameras will always be newer and better, the one filming & the story are the two things that keep things original and truly creative visuals. Really dope shots brotha!
Beautiful. It felt like I was experiencing Fall with you. In So Cal, it's not happening, so thank you. :)
Dude, it’s so surreal seeing places you visit frequently! Thank you on doing a video on the majority of New York people forget! Next time if you’re back up here and need some more hidden spots I could always be a private tour guide 🤣
Your videos never disappoint me! The quality of the iPhone 12 is definitely unmatched! Good job Andy!
Amazing weekend getaway video! So needed this, this year with lockdown. Truly inspiring for all of my next year travel plans :) Thanks Mr Andy :) PS I enjoyed this vlog so much that I was sad when it ended!
The music is great too! What’s the title of the music? 😀
When you’re indoors or in low light use the main camera, the ultrawide just doesnt do it without enough light
Give me a second to pick my jaw up off the floor. Stunning as always bro!
Super beautiful and different from a lot of your vids. Nice job!
def very different. Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow Always top-notch quality 🔥
Thank you!
Forget the camera this place is incredible! Got me back on wanting to move out of the city for good haha
Screw the camera , what is that nice ass house!
Yoo Upstate is the vibe in the fall season, one of those hidden gems fer sure!
Can definitely feel a very cozy vibe from this 👍
Automatically "Sony" brand is promoted at 1:48 "pause and see on black shirt"
Its not only about the phone its mainly based on your capturing skills.keep it up bro👍
Would love to see how the DJI pocket 2 deal with the low light noise in comparison with iPhone 12 pro.
brooo you took that toast out way too early
It struggles on low light the shots with sufficient light can be done by other phones. The battery life as well is half of what most phones are using. How come it is too expensive?
Beautiful home. I used to love in Rochester
Nice video.. are u usinh gimbal? Or just phone only. Nice video quality
Beautiful video work. I lived in the finger lakes region for over 50 yrs but moved to paradise (South Florida) 10 yrs. ago and I’m pissed off I didn’t move 30 yrs. ago.
anyone know his go around to his footage not looking as noisy at it comes native? id be in a well let studio using filmic pro with my ISO all the way down and the footage is quite literally unusable yet this looks gorgeous and something I would defintely use. Denoiser maybe? The ultra wide on my 12 pro just looks horrific no matter what I do
Can you leave the link to that AirBnB? P.s. Kaaterskill looks INCREDIBLE this time of year. Gorgeous work brother.
this is by far 4k, or maybe by the "resolution" fact..but man its blurry and color-compressed. Absolutely NOT impressed at all, looks like cr.. to be honest.
Is this the Pro or Pro Max? I'm debating between the two. The Pro Max has the better camera but the size is so large!
1:47 why is your boy holding the spatula like that? Doesn't seem like it does to well in low light, at least compared to the Samsung S20 Ultra's sensor. Overall this video is clean A.F
That was really heartwarming and cozy. I hope I were there... love your works!
I knew that first waterfall looked familiar, it’s Kaaterskill Falls!!! It was my first location I visited in NY for a hike! You did it so much justice I wish I could make my videos look like that you tell stories so well in your videos.
Excellent video! Were you using any type of gimbal for stabilization? Cheers!
Nice video thx, was looking for some exampne cause my ultra wide disform places on iphone 12 pro, maybe have to return it
Great video footage on a smartphone for sure. But footage is terrible on a 65 inch oled tv as the video isn't sharp and colors are dull. Glad to see smartphone cameras getting better and better every year btu for sure i wouldn't pay the extra money jsut for better cameras on a smartphone. I prefer raw power over photos and videos. :)
Nice video! Makes me wanna go on a trip and relax. Haha. We’re this all shot handheld or did you use a stabilizer?
The indoor shots look like 240p. Probably YT compressing noise?
Agreed. Noticed it right away.
those indoor shots are really bad. I thing everyone who likes this video just looking to comentary section instead of video. For me its really bad result.
yeah video is good, but indoor video quality is still bad.... same as every iphone (or phone in general).... outdoor shots, amazing, indoor pretty noisy and falls apart...
It was filmed with the ultra wide which is worse quality , wide indoors is decent but I’m gonna wait out for the pro max with bigger sensor better indoor video
That happens when there isn’t enough colors in a screen. Dark shots are usually horrible because of that
What gimbal did you use? Handheld phones don't shoot video this steady. Nice work.
Hello!
Were you using dji om 4 to film it? How is it working with iPhone 12? No flaws? :)
what editor are you using for iphone 12?
any recom'ds for wireless mic ?
appreciated
This looks absolutely beautiful. One query - Is the OM 4 water resistant?
What custom luts would you recommend for Final Cut for IPhone 12 pro?
Iphone and any other cell phones are only good for social media, this video is JUNK! professional videographer here
Apple + Tour = Life
some indoor shot you really can see the limitation of a smartphone ( noise in darker areas ). it would be great if you could make a video with the iphone with gimbal vs an entry level mirrorless both on the gimbal
i think distotion ultra mode more than iphone11
IF YOU PLAY "Mrs Magic" by Strawberry Guy at the same time this video starts, they match up! Honestly, you should try it.
Hey Andy! Where could I buy iPhone video holder that you used? Thanks in advance
Next time I want to see behind the scenes of filming with a phone because I'm curious how you film a cinematic like this with just a phone & please show us how you do the editing too 😊
4000 $ coffee machine. But I would still opt for manual lever such as flair pro or similar instead
Would love to see a comparison of the IPhone 12 Pro VS GoPro 9. Nice video.
Good job. Now you should try one with Note20 Ultra
